Chapter 3

At 5:00

"Ugh.." I mumbled to myself as I got out of the shower. I just felt gross after school. I walk over to my closet and start picking out an outfit.

"No..no...maybe..no....YES!" I said to myself.

I put on black skinny jeans and a white top with black writing on it. I put on my black vans and walked into the bathroom.

'Does he actually know where I live? Why would he want to bring me with him? Does he like me-' My deep thoughts were interrupted by my phone going off. I looked at the screen and it was a random number. I picked it up and answered.

"Hello?" I asked through the phone.

" Change of plans, the party is starting earlier than expected. So I will be there in 20 minutes. Okay?" Niall. How did he get my number?

" Uhh yeah sure whatever. Do you even know where I live? And how did you get my number?"

"I've seen you walk home before. Duhh." he said like I should already know that. "And I know people who have your number. So I ask them." I can practically hear him smirking through the phone.

" Okay see you soon Niall."

"Bye babe." What?!? Did he just say that? As I'm freaking out I end the call.I immediately call Jordyn. I update her with all that has happened today with Niall and how I'm going with him to the party.

"That's awesome Lauren! You like him right? so you are happy aren't you?" Jordyn asked me.

" Yeah I guess. I like him but why would he invite me? I'm just Lauren. I'm not like one of the girls he hooks up with." I tell her.

"I don't know what to say. I'm not Doctor Phil. But I think you should calm down, and just have fun tonight. Not too much fun though. Unless if you want too....." Jordyn trailed off at the end.

" NO!! EWW never in a million years!!!!" I yell back.

"Denial....." Jordyn says in a very light voice.

" Ugh. bye see you tomorrow."

"Bye! Use protection!!"

Ughhhhh...

I take a deep breath then go blow dry by hair. I apply light makeup and straighten my hair. I walk downstairs and wait for Niall.

Niall finally pulled into the driveway and I said bye to my parents. I walked towards Nialls car.

" Hellooo." Niall said.

"Hi"

"How was the rest of your day?"

" Ehh. Okay. You?"

" Pretty good."

"So who's party is it?" I ask

"An old friend of mine."

" So, why am I coming?"

"He said I should bring a date."

SILENCE.

For the rest of the car ride I did not talk and neither did he. We finally pulled up to a huge house. We got out of the car and started walking forwards the house. I jumped a little when I felt Nialls arm go around my waist as we walked through the door.
