Today was an interesting battle. Not to mention, it was freezing. It was snowing at the border near Regna Ferox. And it was sunny in Ylisse! Ugh, I like snow, but it got cold too fast for my liking. It was a tough battle, but we were able to come through victorious.
However, the night before....was a bit disturbing. I was minding my own business, showering in the bathing tent, when Chrom just...blundered into the tent! It was so embarrassing! Sure, Takumi had seen me naked plenty of times, but this was different! I'd barley known Chrom for a week, and he's already seen me naked! I will admit that it was probably a mistake, but that's besides the point. I'm not even sure how he accidentally got into women's bathing tent!
Regardless, we're in Regna Ferox now, and we're actually being treated quite well. Frederick said that here, actions speak louder than words, and he wasn't kidding. The general we faced in battle had a completely different persona once we had proven that we were who we said we were.
I have to say, I'm actually having fun here. It's different than what happened in the war, but I still get to go into battle and all. And my magic seems to be getting better. Once you get used to it, magic is fun and easy to make. I'm tired....I guess I'll get some sleep now. Can't wait to see what happens next.

The farther north we went, the colder it got. I'm not one against cold weather, but it was just...happening too fast. I looked over at Chrom. "...is it usually this cold?" He nodded. "Yes. Regna Ferox has brutal winters...this is the middle of fall." I sighed. "I'm glad I have my cloak. Hey, aren't you cold?" I asked him. He shook his head. "Not really. I'm pretty used to diffetent temperatures," he said. "Interesting...I recall the first time I encountered snow...it was up on a mountain, and I was saving my sisters, Hinoka and Sakura." Chrom shook his head. "You're so predictable, Kai. The stories you tell us line up exactly with the stories we know about the ancient Kai. And they're well known stories. Maybe if you could come up with something that wasn't so well known, maybe then I'd start to believe you." I sighed. This honestly sounded like a challenge. "...challenge accepted," I mumbled. Chrom obviously didn't hear me, as he continued walking. I had to come up with something he wouldn't really believe as well known....this was going to be fun.
