Today was pretty interesting. We had an arena battle to help Kahn Flavia of the east of Regna Ferox regain power. The reason we did so was that it was the only way that Ylisse would be able to get help from Regna Ferox.

This kinda reminded me of when I got my first sword...from....agh, I can't remember who it was, but hewas definitely a father figure that raised me when I was young...and I remember that he was a king...but his name has slipped my head. Everything is so mixed up now...nothing makes any sense...

We were quite surprised to see that one of the fighters that the West Kahn had chosen was none other than Marth! I think it's more than a coincidence that we've seen him more than once in a such a short amount of time. Nonetheless, we faced him and his troops in battle, and we emerged victorious, and we were able to secure help from Regna Ferox. The West Kahn even pitched in, and he gave us his previous champion, Lon'qu. He seems like a cool guy, but I don't really think he's all that into girls.

We are now beginning to make our way back to Ylisse, which Chrom expects to take about two days, which is what it took to get up to Regna Ferox. We are currently in the camp we set up, and I'm on guard duty by myself.
I guess I kinda like all this time I get to spend alone. It lets me work on my diary, and I can do it in solitude.
I had a really odd experience, but I don't think I'll write about it, as it was...interesting, to say the least.

I sighed as I stared at the hearth that was set up in the middle of camp.
I couldn't explain why, or what it even was, but for the past ten minutes or so, it's felt like there's someone in my head. Now, I know the feeling, as...crap, I can't remember his name...it's odd. I would think that the longer that I stayed here, the more I would remember, but it only seems to be the opposite. I mean, even if I look at some of my older journal entries, I know that they probably happened, but I can't remember all of the people that I mentioned.

About half an hour or so had passed, and the next thing I knew, I felt a sudden pang, and I dropped my Fire tome, and clutched my head. "Nnngh..."
"...Kai? Can...you hear me?" I suddenly heard a voice say.
I looked around, very confused. "H-huh? Who's there...?" I asked in a low whisper, not wanting to wake anyone up.
The voice sighed. "Kai, do you seriously not recognize my voice?"
"N-no...I'm sorry...I've lost some of my memory, and it seems like I've only retained certain information...such as the fact that I'm married to Takumi...and that I have two sons, Kiragi, and Kana...and that I am from Valla..." I muttered under my breath.
"Well, I guess that's a start," the voice said.
I swore I recognized the voice, but I couldn't place it. "D-do...should I know you?"
"You should, Kai. I'm your brother, after all."
I shook my head and sighed. "No...the only brother I had was Takumi...then I found out that he wasn't my brother, and that's when we confessed to each other..."
The voice grunted, sounding like they were in pain. "Urgh...I'm sorry, Kai...I have to go now..."
Then the voice went away without any further explanation.
