Today, I saw something that I never thought that I would ever see.
The sea on fire.
As crazy as it may sound, it actually happened. It was all part of a plan to get past Valm's front lines, so we could get to their main port, and eventually into the empire.

Though it was crazy, I can't help but think that I've seen something similar. The only difference was that the sea was solid ice, instead of being ablaze.
Chrom thinks that I'm trying to remember when the original Kai was stuck in an ocean that was frozen over by one of her retainers, Flora. But I'm not too sure. I mean, it's likely, but I can't say yes or no.

Regardless, after we get to port, and are able to capture the port town, we're going to take a small break, as Lucina feels that one of the children that came with her from the future will be nearby. Though she doesn't know who it is, it is a lead.
In all honesty, I'm just glad that we didn't burn and go down with the fleet of ships that we set ablaze. It would've been tragic for sure.

I sighed as I began to rack through my head for answers. There had to be a way to get around these Valmese fleets without sacrificing many of our warriors. I just...I couldn't figure out what to do.
"...are you okay, Kai?" Chrom suddenly asked. "You're fairly quiet. You'd normally be at least mumbling to yourself, but you aren't even doing that."
I snapped from my trance and looked up at Chrom. "...honestly, I'm drawing a blank on what we can do. I mean, there's all this oil but I can't figure out how to-"
I cut myself off. "H-hold on, that's it!" I exclaimed.
"Have an idea?" Chrom chuckled.
I nodded. "Mhm. But...it's a bit risky. It'll involve taking down this fleet's commander."
Chrom crossed his arms. "I see. In that case, we should send our best soldiers."
"My thought exactly," I followed up. "It's somewhat up to chance and fate, but I have a feeling that both are strong, and on our side."
"Indeed it is," Lucina piped in.
I then looked over at her. "Lucina...I-"
She shook her head. "Not, Mother. It's fine. It's my fault that I didn't make my presence known."
"I see one way that you take after me," I chuckled.
Lucina slightly blushed from embarrassment. "H-huh? What do you mean...?"
I sighed. "I usually don't tend to announce my presence in a room or whatever. Regardless, let's get this plan into motion."
"Right!" Chrom and Lucina called out, in nearly perfect union.
