I woke up the next day by the ringing of my phone, I let out a big groan and and rubbed my eyes, I didn't even look at who was ringing and answered the phone "hello" I said in a groggy voice "Alysia! Where the hell are you? We were meant to be meeting this morning! I had to go to the lockers without you! Please don't tell me it was Nate again" I opened my eyes in shock "crap! Wait what time is it?!" I asked worriedly "8:15, school starts in twenty minutes" I sighed "look Katie I've got to go, I'll be there as soon as I can!" And with that I ended the call "oh my god, I'm an idiot" I muttered to myself, I didn't have time to shower so I just chucked on whatever clothes I could, black skinny jeans and a grey baggy jumper, I didn't bother brushing my hair, instead I just threw it up in a messy bun and brushed my teeth, I quickly put on some concealer and a couple coats of mascara and ran out the hotel. I had five minutes to get to school and it was a long walk from the hotel, I plugged in my headphones and put a motivational playlist on and started to run to school.

I arrived at school ten minutes late, meaning I had a half an hour detention after school, but I managed to find Katie "so basically, Nate was being a douche again, so you finally ran out, I mean why do you live together anyway your both sixteen! Anyway so you went to a hotel, fell asleep without setting an alarm and woke up late" I sighed and nodded "yep that's the story" I said "but you forgot the part about the fit guitarist" I laughed, Katie shook her head and giggled "you've got a boyfriend you can't say that!" I sighed "well I wish I didn't" I looked at Katie and sighed, the bell for second period rang (I had missed the first lesson) "I've got to go, I'll see you at break" I said to Katie, I turned around and walked away to my next lesson.

A/N: Sorry this is a shorter chapter but I like the way it was, even though you may think it was pretty crap😅
