Kayla smoothed down her sharp black pencil skirt and freshly ironed crisp pink shirt, grabbing her bag and exiting her bedroom.
"Well don't you look smart!" Exclaimed her proud father as she passed through the living room towards the door.
"Thank you daddy" Kayla replied turning towards her mother who pulled her into a loving hug.
"Awh baby, I'm so proud of you! You'll do fine I promise!"
"Thanks mum. Love you both I'll see you later" Kayla answered leaving the house glad to finally be outside and away from the comforting yet protective hold of her parents. She knew they only meant well but sometimes their desire to look after her meant that she was denied many opportunities in her dismal life.

Today, however, she had the biggest opportunity she felt she had ever had in her whole life. She had recently graduated from college and had managed to score herself an internship at Irwin towers. One of the most successful business empires in the world.
This empire was run by one man in particular 30 year old Ashton Irwin. There was not one person in this world who hadn't heard about this incredibly successful business man. Kayla hadn't known all to much about him before she secured her internship when her curiosity got the better of her and she had spent the majority of a day curled up on her bed googling the curly haired business man. She couldn't deny she found him attractive and had secretly hoped that it would be him that she would be the new assistant for. She knew that this was absurd and she would most likely be placed in the office of someone of less importance to the company until she fully found her feet. Anyhow, there was no harm in hoping.

She now found herself in the lobby of the apartment complex in which she lived with her parents, having strode with a new found importance down the many flights of stairs required to reach the ground floor.
She had half an hour before she started and with the walk taking around 20 minutes she decided that the better option would be to get a taxi so she could arrive on time and less flustered from the wind.
She strode outside of the building and hailed a cab, hopping straight in after it had pulled to a stop in front of her.
"Irwin towers, please," she instructed the taxi driver who nodded his head and immediately proceeded on the 10 minute drive to the offices.

The taxi soon pulled to a stop and Kayla thanked the driver before paying him the required amount and stepping out of the taxi in front of the large and daunting building. She pulled down her skirt and straightened out her shirt, taking a deep breath and fluffing out her hair before walking towards the building.
