Kayla pushed open the large glass doors and entered the reception area. Her heels clicked on the marble floors as she wandered towards the front desk, still in awe of her surroundings.

The floors were marble and so shiny that she could see her reflection in the floor. A large water fountain stood in the centre, creating a calming atmosphere. Multiple chairs surrounded the fountain and were filled with important looking people dressed in similar attire to herself. She wondered if any of them were also interns or if she would be the only person starting today.
After admiring her impressive surroundings for quite some time she made her way towards the front desk, her heels still clicking all the way. She felt that the noise made people look at her in the almost silent area and she hoped that for just one second they could silence themselves so as not to draw attention to herself.

A harsh looking woman with a sharp blonde bob and glasses that were perched on the very end of her nose looked at Kayla intently as she approached. Clearly not recognising her from entering the office before.
"Can I help you miss?" The woman asked looking suspiciously at Kayla over the rims of her glasses.
"Um yes actually... Mandy" Kayla answered noticing the lady's name printed in best cursive on her badge. "I'm the new intern, I was wondering where I should go."
"Name please"
"Kayla. Kayla Walker."
The woman nodded, handing Kayla a key card.
"Swipe this card once your in the elevator. It will take you to the top floor of the towers. Mr Irwin will be waiting for you there"
MR IRWIN?! As in the person she'd secretly been hoping to be intern for all this time.
"Thank you" Kayla responded politely. Her breath being caught in her throat as she turned on her heel towards the elevator.
Once inside the elevator she swiped the key card and stood patiently waiting for it to take her to the top floor. The walls of the elevator were adorned with mirrors and she used this much to her advantage by making sure that she looked her best for when she reached the top floor. She was always interested in fashion and made sure that she looked her best at all times but with this new found possibility that she might be working with THE Ashton Irwin she needed to make sure that she was absolutely stunning.
Unfortunately, Kayla didn't have much time to ponder over her image as the elevator was much quicker than she expected and the doors soon pinged open and she found herself facing yet another beautiful reception area. If she though that the previous one was beautiful than this was something else.

Kayla was unsure where to go once she exited the elevator as she was told that Mr Irwin (whoever he was) would be waiting for her. She twisted her head abruptly to the side, her curled long brown hair hitting her in the face, when someone called her name.
"Kayla, I suppose" A deep Australian voice was directed at her but she could only stare with her mouth agape. THE Ashton Irwin was stood before her with his hand extended ready to shake. It took a good few tense seconds for Kayla to stop her staring and break herself out of her trance enough to also extend and her hand and grab his.
"Yes, sir" She responded to his earlier assumption.
"Please, call me Ashton" He responded with a cheeky grin.
This somewhat relaxed her. Maybe he wouldn't be such a harsh business man as she had previously expected.
"Come right this way" He spoke quietly, placing a hand on the small of Kayla's back and leading her through the groups of people and towards his large office.
Being lead by Ashton Irwin gave her a new sense of confidence and importance as every person who they passed on the way gave a respectful nod to the pair. All of the extra attention made Kayla glad that she looked amazing today, her leather skirt and pink blouse (tight due to her naturally full chest) made her feel absolutely wonderful.

Ashton lead her into his office which was absolutely stunning. Everything was glass and one wall was a window which looked out at the whole city, it was breath taking. Kayla noticed a small desk in the corner of the office and assumed that this is where she would be working.
"That over there is your desk" Her assumptions were soon confirmed. "Please make yourself comfortable, I'll be back in a minute to show you around" Ashton said before striding out of his office.
Kayla let out a large breath which she didn't realise she'd been holding this whole time. Wow. This was actually true. She was working for THE Ashton Irwin and was currently sitting in his office. Well this new job was surely going to bring lots of new surprises.
