Chapter 7 - New Encounters

Estelle panicked and raced into the greenery of the trees, bushes and shrubs. Meanwhile Jay was mad yet captivated by Estelle and he couldnt understand why he had been locked away from such a huge secret. She was halfway through all of the tropical trees yet still no Jay, Estelle was worried and confused. Jay stumbled upon something truly remarkable it was some kind of cave but not an ordinary one. Some scribbles of colour had been drawn on the uneven and dusty rocks. "H- Hello" Echoed Jay's voice loudly. He kept trekking through the cave seeing all these other sketches of fights and monsters and animals and people and armies and nature!

Soon later Jay reached an end of the rocky corridor like no other, a dead end. But, he turned his head to the right and saw a flicker of a torch. Jay dashed at the fastest speed, chasing after this person or animal. Whatever it was he was the one who would get to the bottom of this and conquer this beast or enemy, or were they actually friendly and just anxious to greet him? Thoughts rushing through his mind Jay continued to chase whatever this thing was hoping he could find out the answer. Echoes of footsteps could be heard behind Jay and some heavy breathing. Was this Estelle? He twisted round to a stop then examined the person approaching him and realised this wasnt the girl he knew and thought cared about him it was actually another boy just like Jay!

Floods of tears down her cheeks Estelle pranced and leaped searching for her true love she always dreamed of hoping he was in safe comfort and well. She too found a rocky, dull cave with the same exact drawings. The girl pushed through the vines to get to the cave and ran down the long corridor. Soon she came to the dead end and saw a flicker of light from the left, "JAY" excitement beaming right off her face. Lunging herself into the passage way she was the happiest girl alive, now Estelle could finally express her emotions to Jay and hopefully he would appreciate her and then she would recieve the long awaited relationship of her life.

Neither did both of them know they were both going in complete opposites and they wouldnt meet eachother but that doesnt mesn they might not encounter anything else.

Jay was confident and brave he knew he was going to confront this person and find out why they were following him. Why would they want him, he is only a boy with nothing! " Hey you, BOY, Why are you chasing that endangered animal. You wouldnt want to be chased and abandoned from home would you?" Said the cave boy. "Actually I am lost from my home so dont be so quick to judge me please. I am not being mean I am just suggesting that you try and not scare the life out of me again...I never knew what that thing was...anyways I'm sorry...your name is?" Sighed Jay "errrm...Xabi" he questioned himself as if to say he didnt know. "So is this your cave Xabi? I love caves and adventures but not when I'm being chased" Jay chuckled. "Yeah its my place! I have lived here since birth!" Xabi gleamed and beamed at Jay laughing awkwardly but embarassed as if he had a connection with him. "Your nice Xabi! Can you help me find my way back to the shore?" Questioned Jay smiling happily. "Obviously." Said Xabi "Anything for you!" Jay stood closer to the cave boy and asked "What did you say?". "Oh nothing really just that I'm offering to help you." Xabi cheered and chuckled whilst kicking some rocks to distract him from showing himself up infront of Jay.

"Wow. What a surprise I am lost in a cave ugh. All of this for Jay! When I see that boy again I will just...ju-" Estelle froze. "Hey there, who are you?" Said a cave girl swinging in on a vine nearly scaring the life out of Estelle. Without giving a chance for the nervous girl to speak this cave girl carried on "Well you look like you shouldnt be hangin' round 'ere what ever your name is? Why dont you go back to your posh old manor or wherever you rich people live these days..." says the cave girl rolling her eyes. "I'm sorry but in actual fact I am not rich I dont live anywhere fancy and the only reason I am here is to find and protect someone who means a lot to me" Estelle protested. "Ah. Your a very strong and determined girl aint ya...thats just what I like sorry about that its just what a do to everyone. I do love a good old wind up sometimes. Anyway I am Neesha. Sorry for the inconvienience." Said Neesha akwardly. Estelle darted her eyes round the rocky room looking for different ways to get out and keep searching otherwise she was never going to find him. "Have you seen a boy? Around here? Dark hair that blows in the wind singing melodies in my head making me faint, cough cough" Estelle awkwardly pretends that never happened looking down at her feet and kicking pebbles against the wall. "Oh....You like someone I see!" Neesha said raising her eyebrows and staring at Estelle. " Well yeah. He is Jay. Cute. Charming....anyway stop distracting me and tell me if you have seen him" Shouted Estelle angrily realising she had been tricked.

"Come to think of it I recall hearing someone earlier but I think my brother dealt with them" Neesha laughed.
