Chapter 9 - Letting Go

Bobbing on the ocean, Estelle decides to run her hands in the sea and it ripples and sways in the sun. Xabi moves closer to Jay and for once in his life he felt an emotion he had never felt before. LOVE. Then Neesha interupts their moment by reminding them of the dark and large ash cloud hunting them down. Whilst Xabi hunches away from him, Jay felt a connection like no other. Estelle turned round and winked at Jay with the reflection of the sun in her eyes made Jay's stomach flip two times in a row he was nervous now. But then he remembered how he felt with Xabi and his mind was confused...he had no idea what to do. A soulful voice could be heard faintly in the distance. Estelle's expressions were priceless she hopped up and looked for where the voice was coming from "Jay...Jay its my home! I'm home. I live on here on this island." Estelle cried with joy grabbing onto Jay and holding him close. Jay was speechless after all this time with Estelle she was leaving him. He didnt want her to go she helped him so much and was with him the whole time. He couldnt think of a world without her because she meant a lot to him and now she would be...GONE.

"ARIELLA, ITS ME ESTELLE" the girl screamed overjoyed. "ESTELLE WE HAVE MISSED YOU DEARLY." Ariella shouted with water filling her eyes making them glow. Xabi, Neesha & Jay waved and smiled. The boat pulled into the rocks and Estelle dashed off running to Ariella, for a whole minute the world was frozen and the only people moving were the two girls. Hugging and crying tears of happiness. Over Ariella's shoulder Estelle saw Jay wiping his eyes and sobbing she felt horrible leaving him, in fact she felt distraught. Now she was crying for two reasons , her heart and mind were confused she didnt know what to do but eventually she decided...Estelle was staying on the island, finally she was home. The poor girl felt like she had betrayed him. Jay felt destroyed he had lost his friend who he loved deeply. The boat was set free from the island and floated away in the distance. Jay reached out for Xabi and Neesha they all hugged making themselves feel warm inside even though they just saw there bestest companion leave their sides forever. Xabi felt awful and he whispered "It was for the best. Everyone finds there way back home and now we will help you get back to your family. I know how bad it must feel. If I lost Neesha I would be the most broken person ever". Jay felt comforted yet sorrowful.

Now there were only three on the boat and they knew something was missing...Estelle! Arielle felt awful tearing them away from eachother but she knew how much she was missed back home at the island. Xabi couldnt look at Jay without crying after looking at his eyes filled with tears.

JAY'S POV...
She is gone. I miss her so much. What do I do now. Ugh Jay you need to stop being so emotional. (Gasps) Xabi keeps looking away from me? Has something happened did I do something wrong... should I talk to him? But I'm a mess it wont come out right I will just wait for now. If I did speak all you would hear is my crying there is no point. I feel awful..I shouldnt ignore them theyre my friends. Estelle is gone now I cant change that...she made her decision so I shouldnt be upset or should I? Ugh this is so confusing what do I do? How am I supposed to recover.

"Ummm..hey Xabi are you alright?" Jay sobbed. "I-I'm fine yeah I j-just dont like seeing people upset it makes me emotional..." Xabi stuttered. Neesha looked on into the sunset, she wasnt speaking but her expressions showed everything. Xabi looked away from Jay's eyes and instead looked over the boat at the water to see Jay's reflection. His hair blowing in the wind, Xabi sighed in awe staring at how charming Jay looked even looking at his reflection made him feel happy. Then the reflection turned darker and Xabi turned round to see Jay stood up passionately reaching out to Xabi with his hands open. Jay cried "Come here!" Xabi's mind was going crazier than crazy, more excited than excited and more passionate than passionate. Jay pushed him towards his body and Xabi clenched tightly. For a moment Xabi thought all his problems and worries in life had faded and all he focused on was Jay.

XABI'S POV!!!
Oh my....am I dreaming. Did Jay just hug me or....someone pinch me. Wait dont I am enjoying this moment forever. *screams* wow this is actually happening I cant believe my eyes. Jay is so cute I cant...awww.

Neesha broke them both apart and spun them round and they saw the ash cloud getting even bigger it was going to keep tracking them forever at this rate. "I need more help one of you grab the ores I cant do anymore I'm too exhausted. Sorry." Neesha yawned before lying down for rest. "I will do it Jay you have had enough to deal with losing your closest partner,Estelle" Xabi comforted Jay. "Thankyou, it means a lot" Jay smiled. The boy rested his head an looked up at the pink cloudy sky. The sky faded and Jay saw that vision he saw every night. The same person reaching out for him but now he saw something he had never ever seen because it had always been blurry. Jay saw the person's face....he didnt recognised it at first because he hasnt been home in months but now he saw it clearly. It was a girl. She had overflowing affection for Jay. She loved him, she looked just like him in so many ways. Jay had finally realised all this time it had been his sister, Talia. Jay smiled.
