Trinity was getting real tired of hearing about mysterious girl she saw. The moment the first day of school started all she heard was "The Girl with the Violet Eyes." She disliked rumors, and that dislike was growing into downright hatred as the day continued on. Every time she would walk down the corridors she would hear faint whispers, catching the words "Girl" and "Violet", and it didnt stop there. She heard the faint muttering in class, in the bathroom, and even in her common room before she left. Lunch was the worst. All her friends were talking about the girl, gossiping nonstop and spinning theories and ideas about her, and she even saw a few heads from each house table look around in search for the girl.

Trinity felt sad and upset. Sad because she knew if she was the girl, she would feel uncomfortable under all he attention, not necessarily all good, and presumptuous theories about her; she felt upset because she expected more from the students of Hogwarts, even from her own house. It wasn't as if every single student truly gossiped about her, but there was a good majority and this triggered Trinity. She knew what it was like to expected to be one thing, yet be another; and what bothered her the most in her experience was that people judged her before anyone even talked to her- before they took a chance to get to know her.

During lunch, when Trinity's irritation was reaching its peak, she had had enough of the gossip and rumors when she finally snapped. Trinity was stabbing her salad, trying to keep her cool, when a Ravenclaw in front of her, an acquaintance named Alice, had bad-mouthed the girl.

"She's probably a bitch." Alice had said, popping a grape into her mouth. "One of my friends tried talking to her, and she didnt really talk. I doubt she even knows how to carry a normal conversation, like, maybe she has a mental defect."

People around her laughed, and despite Kayla's warning look, Trinity stood up abruptly, causing the laughing Ravenclaws to look at her, their giggles dying. "What is your problem?" Trinity directed at her, her tone brash and serious.

Alice raised a brow and a slight cocky smile played across her lips. "Sit down Trinity, Its just a friendly conversation."

"Making fun of someone isnt a friendly conversation." Trinity snapped. "Nor is talking about her like she's the next issue of a magazine. This is an actual person with feelings, and all i hear going on here is negative ideas about a person you haven't even met yet."

Alice snorted in derisiveness. "Watch it Gryff. Why dont you go over to that table where you might have a chance of actually being wanted." Alice suggested and Trinity clenched her fists.

"Hey shut up." Kayla spoke up, glaring at Alice. "Dont be mean to someone just because no one likes you for your ugly ass face."

A ravenclaw choked on her food and Alice's nostrils flared, but before she opened her mouth to respond she noticed that instead of her little group freinds paying attention it was now a good amount of the Great Hall watching them. Many students were still not paying any attention to them, seemingly oblivious to the argument, but the amount that were was enough for Alice to keep silent and bottle up her snarky remark.

"Whatever," She snapped rudely at the two Ravenclaws. Trinity gave Kayla a look that spoke that she was leaving and her best friend nodded, knowing her friend didnt want to be in lunch anymore. Trinity shot one last look to Alice, who was glaring at her, and turned on her heel and left the Great Hall. She felt eyes on her as she walked out, but she didnt even turn her head to cast a simple glance at who was watching her.

The rest of the day passed by in a grudgingly slow pace for her, but she did notice that the faint whispers of the girl lessened. There were still people talking about it, but it wasn't as much as before lunch.

She thanked whatever being was watching over her when the school day ended, and even though she had to go to her teachers room right after, it was still better than enduring what she had to earlier. She had gathered her quidditch gear from her room before making her way to Ravenstick's classroom, a little upset that Kayla couldn't be with her today. The short Asian never explained her reason why, only that whatever she did was worth getting a punishment from McGonangall.
