*Andy's POV*
"Here we go, home sweet home." Jake said as we walked onto the bus.
I gently placed the girl on the couch, and went to the cabinet about her, getting out the first aid kit. Opening the container, my hand gripped the small bottle of peroxide and a gauze. I turned back to the little girl and saw that there was dried blood on her clothes; but the scratches I saw on her hands were now just pink lines.
"That's odd." I mumbled as I cleaned off the little blood that was on her hands.
I saw her shake her head and I met her eyes. Just the color made me think that she isn't exactly- what's the word- normal.
"It's not odd to me." She mumbled as she watched me put the medical supplies away.
"What is odd, Andy?" Jinx asked coming up beside me as I closed the cabinet door.
I just shook my head, not sure how to answer him without sounding crazy. So I just kept quiet as I tried to figure out how the cuts healed so fast. I turned back to the girl and gestured to her sweater.
"You should take that off so we can make sure you didn't hurt your back when you fell." I said softly.
Her eyes widened and she wrapped her arms around herself, her knuckles white from gripping the black sweatshirt.
"No, I'm okay. I prom-" She moved slightly and cried out in pain. I watched as she moved her hand to her back, clutching the fabric and squeezing her eyes shut.
"That doesn't sound like you are okay." Jake said as he stood at Jinx's side.
I knelt in front of her and put my hand on her hand that was clutching her back. I felt her tense up and I sighed, gripping her shaking hand, squeezing it gently.
"Sweetheart, please, from what it looks like you are hurting. I just want to make sure that you aren't bleeding." I said softly.
I saw her glance at the guys before looking back at me, then her eyes locked on the floor. "I'm not bleeding it's just my w-, my back is sore from falling." She said.
I wanted to push her further, but I didn't want to lose her trust. So I decided to leave her alone and let her rest. The guys and I decided to stat on the bus, and order take out.
The food came and we all sat in the front lounge, the guys took turns asking the little girl some questions.
Her name is Alexandrite, she is turning eleven in two days and she didn't have a real family. She ran away from the people who were caring for her because they weren't nice to her.
Cc and Jake were fascinated, as the rest of the guys and I were when shw showed us her markings. They decorated her arms, each marking a different color.
She said that they were one of the things that makes her different. I asked her what else makes her different and she just shut down, not really talking after that.
Then the guys said their good nights and Ashely went to the back to grab one of his spare blankets he had in his cubby. Tucking her in, Ashely turned and followed the guys to the bunk area.
I said that I wasn't tired. So I just kept my seat at the booth and took out my phone.

<An hour later>
Sitting at the booth, my untouched slice in front of me, my eyes wandered from my phone to the little girl who was asleep on the couch. She was curled up underneath one of Ashley's blankets, her back was to me. I noticed that there was a large bump underneath the blanket.
I got up, leaving my dinner on the table and walked over to the girl's side. Pulling the blanket back she shifted slightly and I froze, taking a small step back.
"What are you doing, man?" I heard Ashely ask quietly as he came out from the bunk area.
I turned my head to look at him and I carefully folded the blanket in half, so that her upper half was uncovered.
"I'm just making sure she isn't hurt. No one cries out in agony with just soreness." I said as I gripped the bottom of her sweatshirt.
I froze as my fingers gripped something soft and it moved under my hand. I jumped back, causing Ashely to jump as well.
"What the fuck, Andy?!" Ashely whispered, keeping his voice down so that he doesn't wake her.
"Something moved when I touched the bottom of her sweater." I pointed to her back.
Ashely took a step towards her and he quickly froze in his spot when she turned over and her eyes fluttered opened. Her bright eyes looked at us in confusion.
"What is the matter?" She asked, alarmed when she saw the shock on my face.
I quickly shook my head. "Nothing, Ashely just spooked me that's all." I rubbed the back of my neck.
"Oh okay." She muttered as she yawned and her eyes slowly closed. "Goodnight guys." She whispered and just like that, she was out cold.
I couldn't shake the feeling that came from my gut as I switched off the light and tucked Alex back in. Ashely grabbed a water bottle and made his way back to his bunk. I walked to the back, climbing into my bunk and lied there, staring out the window.
There is something up with Alexandrite and it doesn't feel like it's anything normal. My mind raced as I closed my eyes.
It must have been not even ten minutes until I felt someone lightly tapping my back. "Andy, are you awake?" I heard Alex's soft voice and I turned over, looking at her.
"What's wrong, Alex?" I asked as I propped myself up on my elbows.
" I can't sleep, can I lay with you?" She asked, her lip quivered.
I nodded and she climbed into my bunk. She cuddled up next to me and I covered her with my blanket. Her blue mark peeked out from underneath the opening of her right sleeve when she moved her arm out on my chest.
"Andy." She said, quietly.
I hummed and looked down at her.
"Thank you for helping me today. You and the guys are the first people who were nice to me since I ran away."
I smiled and my hand lightly rubbed her back, she jumped when my hand went down the right side of her back and I stopped.
"I'm sorry" I said softly, moving my arm so that it was underneath my head.
She didn't say anything. I just lied there listening to the guys lightly snoring and her breathing as it evened out.
I couldn't shake the feeling of when my hand rubbed her back, feeling the bumps that weren't supposed to be there. I had a deep feeling that she was hiding a big secret, something that could lead to something very dark and dangerous.
My eyes closed and I drifted off to sleep, my thoughts were racing and it wasn't about the show we had to play tomorrow. They were on the big secret she was hiding. But it doesn't seem like it is something that is small and pity; but, something that could lead to a very dark and dangerous situation.
