*Alexandrite' s POV*
I watched my brother collapse to the floor, his screams made my ears ring. That is when I saw that he was still vulnerable. The shadows slipped off of me, slithering back to him and wrapped around his arms and torso.
His wings extended and cupped his body, like a protective shell. When I mentioned our father's banishment, it was like a switch went off and I caught a glimpse of the Ryker I knew. On instinct, I called upon Spirit to sooth him, but the element didn't respond. When he kidnapped me he took away my ability to summon the elements. Something that only dark magic can do.
Ryker lifted his head, his eyes were bloodshot. In a blink of an eye the light faded from his eyes and were replaced with the hatred and anger that glowed like an raging flame.
"Ryker." I said in a small voice, watching as he stumbled to his feet. His wings folding back behind him, the shadows surround him as he clenched his jaw.
"Just shut up!." He exclaimed. In two strides, he was standing in front of me. My eyes widened as my body tensed up. His fingers wrapped around my throat, the chair lifting off the floor.
The black shadows wrapped around his arm, looking as if they were marks that represented darkness. I gasped as he hurled me across the room. My ears rung as glass shattered around me. The chair broke into pieces when it hit the ground. I felt my right wing break as my whole body weight pinned it against the concrete ground.
Feeling the floor disappear from underneath me, my screams were swallowed by the night sky. I knew if Ryker' s grip loosened I wouldn't live the fall. I knew, in my gut, that this was only the beginning of my end.
If only I could get a sign out to the guys so they would know where to start looking.

<a few hours later>
*Andy's POV*
My feet landed on the pavement and I retracted my wings. Throwing open the door of the bus, stomping inside. There was a faint ringing in my ears because of how silent it was on the bus. Without Alex's laughter or the guys joking about something; it was complete, utter, silence.
"Andy, we will find her." Jinx's voice came from behind me, making the ringing in my ears stop.
"We have searched this whole town. She can be anywhere in this state." I threw my hands up and sank into the booth. Feeling defeated. Crossing my arms on top of the table, I rested my head on my arms and sighed.
After four hours of silence, Ashley finally spoke up. "We aren't living up to our full potential."
"Ash, what are you talking about?" I heard CC ask. With my eyes closed, I could imagine CC giving Ashley a dumbfounded look.
"What he means is that we haven't used the power that we have, to guide us in the right direction." Jinxx said.
I looked up at Jinxx and Ashley, "You're right."
"Damn straight. I am the wisest of the group." Ashley said, crossing his arms and his eyes glowed a bright blue.
My wings slid out and the soft feathers tickling my arms. "Why don't we go back outside and try the circle like Alex did in the hotel?" CC asked.
I gave a swift nod and got up from the booth. Walking outside CC took his spot in the North position, and we fell into our places. Jake called his element and the wind picked up. Next Jinxx summoned his element, then Ashley and CC. Bowing my head I called upon my element, our circle felt stronger than the first time.
My eyes snapped opened when I heard Jake gasp. "I hear something." My head shot up, looking at him. His eyes were looking past me and Ashely, off in the distance. My heart stopped when I heard a faint scream sounding in the distance.
"Alex!" Her name escaped my lips, as I sprinted past Ashley. We took to the sky and followed the scream.
We are going to save you, my Angel.
