Andie's pov-

Aprils been acting strange, and when I say strange, I mean real strange.
I was just finishing up my daily jogging, I had to relieve my stress some how and jogging seemed to do the trick!
Of course, music is my motivation when I jog. I hate being disturbed when I'm jogging, or when my musics playing. April, out of all the people, should know that. But, for some crazy reason, she decided to call me twelve times, while I was out for only thirty minutes.
And when she calls, the music on my my phone shuts off until she stops calling. My ringtone is playing over and over and over in my head right now, and it's driving me insane.

I make a left, jogging towards the apartment, trying to not throw my phone at some random stranger. The question remains: Why didn't I pick up my phone?
Well, I actual don't really know. I'm so concentrated right now, so determined to get jogging done, I don't even want to speak to anyone.

Then, my horrors came true, the awful, annoying, loud ringtone from my phone cracked through my ear drums.
Sighing annoyed, I pull out my phone from my back pocket and hit 'answer.'
I place my phone up to my ear, breathing in heavily, What?" I ask, clearly annoyed.

"Just checking on you." April says sweetly. Guessing she heard the annoyance in the tone of my voice.

"Checking on me?" I question, with a slight attitude hinting in my voice.

  "Yes..?"

"You called me thirteen times, April!" I shout. I wasn't mad at her, but surely enough, I was annoyed.
I'm blessed that I have a friend like her: caring, protective, but gracious! She really goes all out.

"Right- sorry."

I sigh once more, ending the call and quickly texting her that I would be home in a few. I turn off my phone, music still playing, and shove it into my pocket, continuing my jog.

April is honestly more of an older sister than a friend or roommate.

------

"I called her, she seemed fine."

"You sure it wasn't some...voice changer?"

"Yes, Leo I'm sure. No one could possible nail Andie's attitude."

I take my ear away from the door of my apartment, stepping back a bit. I just got back from jogging, once I was about to open the door I heard voices. So, that should explain my stalker-ish actions. But wait, is it stalkerish if it's my apartment?

"She should be home soon, so you guys should go. We're safe here." April insisted.

The sound of people scrambling away, and the window opening made me barge into the room, looking around questionably.

I looked over at April who had a anxious expression written all over her face. She looked like a child who broke a glass; playing it innocent.

"Alright spill." I order, crossing my arms. She looks around nervously, then meets her aquamarine eyes back up to mine.

"What are you talking about?" She asks, standing up.

"Who was in here?"

"What do you mean 'who was in here?' I'm the- I was the only one in...in here."

I shake my head, walking over to my bedroom, "Again, this," I point at her, "Is not ok." Then walk into my room, shutting the door behind me.
