I see you, and you see me.
We're supposed to be one big happy family.
With hugs and smiles galor,
but that isn't all that family's for.
I see you, and you see me.
My mom does one thing
My dad does another.
Please I can see the pity
I don't need it.
Oh I see you and you see me.
The one I once thought I knew is nothing but a stranger.
Siblings are forced apart,
yet reunions are soon to follow.
We suffered through so much but what we faced alone was deadly.
I see you, and you see me.
Through the years numbing calluses some covered our hearts and souls.
Our bounds that led us back to each other are strong.
I see you, and you see me.
I have journeyed far yet you acted gleeful just yesterday?
Why change it so soon?
Have you only spied upon me just to leave me broken?
"No more," I say with an ever so aching heart.
I see you, and you see me.
My smile has been corrupted.
Instead of one that's true,
it is but not worth anything besides garbage.
You have reopened my wound with your earlier actions.
I appear before you excited lying to you about my true form.
I see you, and you see me.
My form is fractured from
You.
How could I let myself trust you again?
Such a fool I was and still am.
You don't see me and yet I see you.
I truly pity you.
You poor thing have made such a bed how could you possibly ever think of sleeping in it?
I have yet to decide what fate to give you but I still seek to give you mercy.
Oh death, oh life
what may I have in store for such a clueless being?
