They say that with high hopes and belief in your dreams
They can grow wings and sore
But if those wings were chopped,ripped from their true place
Falling,the dream would be plummeting toward the darkness never to be dreamed again
Those who chopped the wings and struck down the dream didn't just suddenly turn violent toward the dream
They first became jealous of the dream
Jealousy soon spun into angered words,throwing rocks,and then brutally attacking
If only someone had stuck up for the dream.The dream would not have been beaten into the darkness of failure.
