Sarafina Weasley: Book 3

The Dementor

Sarafina's POV

We reached the station and Dad decided we should go in pairs after the ministry return with trolleys for everyone. I was going through with George after Ginny and Percy. "Ready Sara?" he asks smiling.

"Ready George" I state and we run through the barrier together. I then went over to Ginny who was speaking to a a blonde haired girl in her year. "Ginny I'm going to sit with Harry, Hermione and Ron, ok" I tell her.

"That's ok Fina I was going to sit with Luna anyway" Ginny states. I greeted Luna and found out she was in Ravenclaw. Before going over to Hermione and we meet up with the other two. All the compartments were full, except for one with a sleeping man inside it.

"Come on, everywhere else is full" Hermione says opening the door. She and I sat one side of the compartment with the boys of the other side with the sleeping man.

"Who do you think that is?" Ron asks.

"Professor R. J. Lupin" Hermione and I state.

"You both know everything, how is that they know everything?" Ron states then asks Harry.

"It's on his suitcase Ronald" Hermione states and I nod my head in agreement. I took Yuki out of her carrier and Hermione does the same with Crookshanks. Much to Ron's displeasure.

"Do you think he's really asleep?" Harry asks looking at Lupin. We all nod our hands asking him why. "I have to tell you something" he states shutting the  blind locking the door. While I placed a silencing charm around the room.

"So you mean Sirius Black has escaped Azkaban to come after you?" Ron asks. Harry nodded his head and Ron said "blimey." Just then the train stopped suddenly and the lights went out. I fell forward from my chair batting heads with someone as both the cats kissed angrily. "Want's happening?" Ron asks.

"Sorry Sarafina" Harry says as I get back onto my seat and Yuki jumped onto my lap again.

"That's ok Harry, it was an accident" I assure him.

"Why did we stop? We can't be there yet" Hermione states.

"Someone's coming aboard" Ron states looking out the window.

"Quiet" a man's voice says as light appeared. I turn my head to see Professor Lupin holding some fire. Just then the door started to open and I see a rotting hand appeared as I held in a scream drawing my wand. Crookshanks and Yuki were hissing madly as the figure came into view. That's when I realized it was a dementor.

"None of us is hiding Sirius Black under our cloaks" Lupin states. But the dementor didn't leave and was closing in on Harry. I thought of the time I became a member of the quidditch team and we won our first match.

"Expecto Patronum" I say firmly and my mountain lion patronus rammed into the dementor along with an other patronus. It left and I saw Hermione trying to wake Harry. I knelled beside them and slap his cheek gently waking him up. "Glad you're awake Harry" I state as a snap filled the room. We all turned to see Lupin breaking up a large bar of chocolate.

"Here eat this it'll help" he states giving us all some chocolate. "By the way how did you know that spell?" he asks me. I shrugged my shoulders acting innocent.

"I read it in a spell book one of my older brothers had and thought looked cool. Never thought I'd have to use it" I state. "Though that's the first time it's actually taken a shape" I tell him.

"That's advanced magic and its impressive you learnt it by yourself" Lupin tells me smiling.

"Thanks Professor, I look forward to your classes" I state. Lupin then said he was leaving to talk to the driver. I started to eat my chocolate while the others explained to Harry want a dementor was. When Lupin came back the others hadn't eaten their chocolate and I was reading my DADA book.

"I didn't poison the chocolate you know" he tells the others. They all start to ate theirs as Lupin sat down next to me. "The driver says we will arrive in ten minutes" Lupin states.

"Thanks Professor and the chocolate was very good" I tell him smiling. I then grab my robes and left with Hermione to change. When we got back to we had arrived at Hogsmeade station. Hermione and I put our cats back into their carriers. I noticed Lupin had already left, so he was probably already at Hogwarts.
