Sarafina Weasley: Book 3

Werewolf

Sarafina's POV

After me binding Ron's leg and deciding to hand Pettigrew to the dementors. Lupin and Ron are now chained to Pettigrew as we head back. While Sirius levitated Snape's body through the tunnel with his (Snape's) own wand. Hermione was leading the way with the two cats while I was at the back of the group with Sirius and Harry.

"So Padfoot no hard feelings?" I ask looking at Sirius.

"Of course not you were only protecting your brother and friends" he replies smiling warmly. "You know want this means? Turning Peter in?" Sirius asks Harry. I smile and decide to let them talk in private. Turning into a mountain lion I run ahead to Hermione scarring Pettigrew as I passed him, Lupin and Ron. Lupin chuckled at my behaviour and Ron shouted still not use to me being an animagus.

"Hey Sarafina" Hermione smiles at me and I purr. "Your nothing but a big soft kitten" she sniggers. I growl playful at her. "Don't growl at me" she snaps lightly and I roll my eyes. We reached the end of the tunnel and Crookshanks goes up first to press the knot. Then one by one we all climbed out of the tunnel and got a safely away from the tree.

"One wrong move Peter" Lupin states and I growl at Pettigrew snapping my jaws. Lupin sends me a look and I stop. Suddenly the cloud cover moved and we were bathed in moonlight. By the full moon.

"Oh no he hasn't taken his potion tonight" Hermione states. "He isn't safe" she says backing away from a ridged Lupin. Harry went to help Ron but I lept forwards first standing in front of Ron growling at Lupin.

"Leave it to me, run now!" Sirius shouted at Harry. Lupin snarl and Sirius changed into Padfoot coming to my side. We nodded at each other ignoring everyone, but the changing werewolf in front of us. The werewolf got free of the chain and lunged at us.

Padfoot seized him by the neck pulling away from Ron and Pettigrew. While I circled them waiting to see if Padfoot needed help. "Sirius, Sarafina he's gone Pettigrew transformed!" Harry shouted at us. I growled in anger and lunged at the werewolf as he threw Padfoot to the side.

He shook me loose before heading towards the other three that Snape was standing in front of. But I lept in front of them growling at the werewolf. Padfoot returned grabbing the werewolf's attention and lead him away towards the lake. I followed knowing Padfoot couldn't do this alone being hurt and not at full health to begin with.

Harry ran after us even though Snape told him not to and he threw a rock at the werewolf. Suddenly a howl was heard as Sirius fell to the ground whimpering and I stood in front of him. The werewolf looked into the forest away from Harry as an other howl sounded. It took off into the forest and I saw that Padfoot had changed back into Sirius. He was heading towards the black lake.

I changed as well and ran after him with Harry following. Just then Sirius fell as the air became cold and the lake was frozen. Harry and I looked up to see hundreds of dementors heading our way across the lake. "Sarafina help me!" Harry shouts drawing his wand and I do the same with mine.

Thinking of the time my team one the Quidditch cup at last I shouted "Expecto Patronum!" along with Harry. My mountain lion lunged at the dementors as Harry only produced a smokey shield. But I was weak from the fight with the werewolf and the draining powers of a hundred dementors was taking a toll on my last bit of strength.

"Think of something happier Harry" I tell him as I fall to my knees. Before everything went black around me. The last thing I heard was Harry shouting 'expecto patronum' constantly.
