Boggart

Sarafina's POV

We now had Defense Against the Dark Arts with Professor Lupin. As some of the others go to take out their books he says "put your books and quills away. We are having a practical lesson today and you will only need your wands. Please follow me" he finishes leaving the classroom. He lead us to the staff room where Snape was reading a paper.

"Hold the door Lupin, I do not want to witness this" he states standing up. "I do not know if anyone told you Lupin but you have Neville Longbottom in your class. It is best not to ask him to do something unless Miss Granger is whispering instructions in his ear" he states. Making Neville lower his head and blush in embarrassment.

"That's not fair sir, Neville is the best in class when it comes to Herbology" I state wrapping an arm around Neville.

"Actually I was going to ask Neville to help me demonstrate" Lupin tells Snape. Who sneered at him before leaving the staff room and Lupin lead us to a closet. Something in the closet moved as Hermione appeared beside me. "Now can anyone tell me want they think is inside the closet?" Lupin asks us.

"That's a boggart that is" Seamus states.

"Good job, now can anyone tell me want a boggart looks like?" Lupin asks.

"No one knows, boggarts are shape-shifters and take the form of want every their victim fears the most" Hermione and I reply.

"Now we have an advantage over the boggart, can anyone see it?" Lupin asks us. Harry raised his hands and Lupin asked if he saw our advantage.

"I think saw, as there are so many of us it won't know want to turn into" Harry states.

"Exactly Harry well done" Lupin states smiling. "Now a simple charm exists to repel a boggart, but want really finishes it is laughter" he explains. "Neville come here please" he states beckoning Neville over. "Now want threatens you most?" Lupin asks him.

"Professor Snape" Neville states after mumbling it a few times and blushes as some of the others laughed at him. I sent them people a glare and they shut up. Lupin then asked if Neville lived with his grandmother and Neville replied. "Yes, but I don't want that boggart to turn into her either."

"Don't worry it won't I want you to picture her clothes, only her clothes very clearly in your mind" Lupin states. "Then sayRiddikulus" he explains. "Now I want you all to think of your worst fear and think of a way to make it funny" he tells the rest of us. "Then practice the incantation without your wands please" he explains.

I thought of my greatest fear death and want I think he looks like. Then thought of how I could make him funny or less frightening. Lupin soon asked if we were ready and the majority of us nodded our heads. He then called Neville forward to go first and counted to three before releasing the boggart that faced Neville turning into Snape.

"Wand at the ready Neville, wand at the ready" Lupin reminds him as boggart Snape approached Neville.

"Riddikulus" Neville says pointing his wand at the boggart Snape and his clothing changed. Now he was wearing; a vulture stuffed hat, green dress, stuffed cat scarf and red hand bag instead of his usual black robes. We all started laughing as we lined up and Parvati went next the boggart turned into a cobra.

It was finally my turn and the boggart turned into want I thought death looks like. Which was a dark figure holding a scythe and sitting on a pail of bones. I pointed my wand at it and said "Riddikulus" making it turn into a pink cupid.It was now Harry's turn except Professor Lupin stepped in front of him.

I saw the boggart turn into a full moon and found it strange. When he said "Riddikulus" it turned into a deflated balloon. "Neville finish it off" he states and Neville strides forward looking determined.

"Riddikulus" Neville says after the boggart turned into Snape again and wore the same thing as the last time. "Ha" Nevile states and the boggart blows up. Lupin says that was all for today and that we had no homework.

"Professor, can I have a word with you?" I ask as the others leave the room. He nodded his head and lead me to his office. He then sat down and I sat on a chair across from his desk facing him.
