I grab a loose black teeshirt, pair it with ripped black jeans and a pair of black slip on vans. Straightening my hair, applying my makeup and tossing a cross body purse over my shoulder. Just in time to have Vic honk the horn. I double check for my phone and wallet before plopping into the passenger seat of the truck.

"Well hey there Scar" he chuckles as I strap myself into the truck.

"Hey"

"What brings you to the mall?"

"Clothes. I need more"

"Understood" he says, we mostly ride in silence, the radio hums softly, Vic sings along under his breath, he pulls into a large parking lot.

"Is this the mall?" I gasp. It's a lot larger than the mall in Wisconsin.

"Uh yeah, why?"

"Bigger than I thought" I mumble. He chuckles.

-

"That looks ridiculous" I laugh as Vic tries on a pink muscle shirt and grey flannel.

"I like pink!" he cries out in defense.

"Try this one" I say handing him a large pink tee with a pocket on the left sleeve.

"With the flannel?"

"Yeah"

I spin around and see a pair of darkwash skinny jeans.

"And these" I shout tossing them over the door. I know it'll take him awhile to try them on so I move to examine maternity clothes, for later.

I choose a not so ugly yellow romper, a purple dress and a black blouse and shove them onto the counter. Once the items are paid for I shove them into my bag and return to the changeroom just as Vic comes out.

"Get it" I say, he looked nice. The shirt flowed nicely from his torso, the grey flannel contrasted off of the colour making his skin look tanned and even,  and the jeans clung to his hips and knees making him look taller.
