Vic's POV

I really screwed up, like really screwed up. Like I make a screw look like a-

I have no idea where I was going with that, but I screwed up.

Mike came in the door, a flannel shirt in his hands, he smelt heavily of alcohol, he began heading up the stairs.

"How is she?" I asked nervously.

"She's fine" He snapped back, when he spun around to face me, his puffy eyes were glazed over, he was drunk, and he was crying.

"Mike-" I started, I began walking towards my little brother. I reached out an arm and he pulled away. "Please, I need to be here for you, please Mike"

I heard keys jangling in the door, Mike bolted up the stairs, before the door opened I heard the shower go on, our parents were all about rules. They weren't strict but they would definitely not approve of underage drinking done by Mike or myself.

Mike: my room in 10

I smirked at my phone and began walking up the stairs.

"Vic?" I heard the familiar voice of my mother ring through the hall.

"Momma" I said in the same shrill tone.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm gonna go do some homework upstairs" I lied.

"Alright, will you be around for dinner?" She asked, I looked down at my phone.

"I'll get back to you, love you" I leaned down, pecked her cheek and ran up the stairs.

Scarlett's POV (15 minutes later)

I sprawled out on Tony's bed next to him.

"That was um-" He started,  I looked over at him and laughed, he was shirtless but he looked cold.

"Tony-" I started, I knew this would hurt him, but I didn't want him like- like I just had him"

"Scar, I know we just had sex, but um... I'm not interested in you like that, I want to stay friends but- I was just emotional and I needed someone and I'm sorry" He stammered.

"Oh thank god, I mean, I like you as a friend but there's nothing more than that, I was about to say the same"

"Oh good, we don't need to tell anyone" We said in unison, Tony laughed out loud.

I walked home, I knew that I needed to block out my emotions and feelings and I was really angry.

Anger is an emotion.

I managed to calm myself down as I walked to the door.
