A while back I mentioned someone named Robbie being played by Tyler Oakley. Robbie is in this chapter.

Marcus' POV *a few hours earlier*

Helena and I sit together on the long plane ride. Fingers intertwined. I loved her, I really did.

I never thought I could love someone after Jesse, to be honest with you I loved that boy more than I loved myself.

Helena understood me in ways Jesse never did, maybe because I bullied him.

But I did it because I loved him. I felt awful for almost taking his life, but he liked Helena. I couldn't loose him.

Why couldn't he love me?

But here I was, on my way to San Diego with my girlfriend, we were going to stay with her grandmother to get away.

I was never going to see him again.

Or Scarlett, sweet, naive Scarlett, she actually believed I had a crush on her.

How did she not know? The way I looked at her brother.

-

"Hey baby we're here" Helena murmurs in my ear. She smelt of Vanilla. It reminded me of Jesse, the way he'd always smell vaguely of Vanilla.

I teased him about it sometimes but I knew that was the scent of cream he used to try and hide his scars.

I mumbled something of an okay back. I was so tired.

So, so tired.

-

"So you're gonna start at Clairemont today? Both of you?" The lady at the desk asked us, she was staring at the ID cards we placed on the desk.

Finally, she turned to the printer and pulled out our timetables. Helena and I headed down to the cafeteria to pick up some food as it was nearing one o'clock.

"Hey I gotta piss, I'll be back" I whisper to her, she straightens out her pink skirt and black top, I finger her braid for a bit, kiss her cheek, and head to the bathrooms.

Sitting in a crumpled heap outside the women's door, sits a sobbing Scarlett. She looks up at me, eyes filled with hate.

If looks could kill.

Scarlett's POV

I hate him and he's here. Why is here?

"Marcus?" I ask blindly, as if I could forget this douchebag.

"Scarlett" Marcus resonds, holding out a hand to help me up, I smack his arm away and stand up on my own.

"Why are you here?"

"I could ask you the same thing" I snap.

"I just needed to get away" He mumbled. I lost it, I slammed him against the wall, and held my forearm up to his throat.

"Jesse is coming tomorrow. I swear to god if you mess with him I will see to the fact you are gone. Nobody will ever see you again, you will be nonexistent. If you breathe one rude, inconsiderate, sarcastic word to my brother I will end you" I hiss.

"No, I-i wont I'm s-s-sorry" He stammers, i release his throat and shove him on the floor.

-

After serving the detention I got from some girl named Rayanne walking into the washroom and seeing my attack on Marcus I walk to the beach and sit in the sand, I doodle in it, allowing the cool waves to wash over my drawings and my skin.

"Scarlett?" A voice asks, I don't turn around.

"What?" I hiss, my voice full of venom.

"Mike's really worried about you, we all are" At this point I turn around to face the last person I thought would be here.

Vic's POV *10 minutes later*

"Mike please" I begged. Another bottle.

"She's gone, she's gone just like Michelle!" Another bottle.

"Mike she's not gone she's just upset" Another bottle.

"Find her!" He roared more bottles.

"Mike stop drinking please" I begged. I hated seeing him like this.

"Find her and I'll stop" He laughed as I ran out the door I heard more bottles being smashed.

"Where are you Scarlett?" I mumbled as I drove along the coast, then I saw it, a speck of purple. Not enough to tell what it was, it could have been wild flowers for all I know.

I drove onto the beach and ran full fledge at the purple.

Scarlett.

I stood there watching her fingers delicately doodle in the sand, feeling the water on her skin, her face sunk.

"Scarlett?" I ask gently. She tenses slightly, but just as quickly she relaxes.

"What?" I can tell, she's trying to be more angry and harsh than she feels. Hurt and insecure.

The way I sounded.

"Mike's worried about you, we all are" My mouth has issues forming the words. I pull out my phone.

Vic: Mike, I found her at Verase Point @ beach, all is well

I watch as she tenses. "Have I hurt him?" She asks, she's worried.

"No, he's fine" Lie

"Are you sure?" She asks, her makeup is still intact but she looks sad.

"Yes" Lie

Scarlett's POV

Scarlett: hey mikey, sorry if I worried you, just needed some time x

Mike: k

"What's wrong?" Vic asks, taking a seat in the sand.

Should I tell him?

"Scar?" He urges.

"You can't tell anyone"

"I won't"

"I'm not the oldest"

DUN DUN DUNNN
