I tie my hair into a tight french braid and attempt to get ready, I've only been to the beach a few times in my life. Four times maximum, I step into my red and white pin-up girl style one piece. A lowcut neck line with thick straps, it was a modest length, the red made it eyecatching and the white dots made it look more humble than it was. The chest was lightly cinched to give my breasts more support.

(A\N sorry that may have been too much detail, shh, anyways since I suck at describing there is a photo on the sidebar probably not right away tbh)

I decide I need a cover up so I decide on a loose white tee, dark-wash shorts and an oversized, thick, knitted, beige cardigan. I pull my hair out from it's braid and decide to put it up.

I grab a dufflebag from my closet and fill it with some cash, a phone charger, my phone, 2 towels, makeup, some extra clothes, extra cash, my polaroid camera and my house keys. I move to examine myself in the mirror, I'm dressed appropriately, my now wavy hair is in a ponytail secured with a red bandana, and my dufflebag is slung over my arm, I grab my backpack off the floor of my bedroom.

After going through some of my shopping bags I find a pair of white flip flops I purchased from a surf shop with Vic. It's 7:30 and I pack the van with my bags, soon later Vic, Mike and Jaime show up and a few minutes later Tony joins us.

"The beach is just up the road a little right?" I ask, Mike looks away as I search my group for an answer.

"Yep" Tony smiles, I sit in the driver's seat, Tony sits shotgun, Jaime and Vic sit in the row behind and Mike sits in the very back, burrying his face into his phone.

"To the beach!" Vic exclaims.

"Hey Vic didya bring your guitar?" Tony asks.

"Yeah man, how about you?" Vic answers.

"Hell yes!"

"I brought my acoustic bass" Jaime offers

"Jam session at the beach?" I ask.

"Only if Mike stands in for drums" Tony says

"Maybe." Mike mutters, I turn up the radio as "In My Life" by the Beatles comes through the radio. We all sing along loudly. I pull into the dock parking on the beach, which allows us to park right on the beach.

Austin already set up a few blankets, speakers and an umbrella, a large picnic table sits an acceptable distance away from the tide. White christmas lights come in long strings from his car, they go around the picnic table, umbrella and speakers, and lead up to the fire pit.

"Welcome to our little beach party" Austin laughs, a few people are around him. A tall girl with thick layers of blonde hair, and a short girl dressed more for a private school than for the beach.

"Well if it's a party can I invite people?" Tony asks hopefully.

"Yeah sure!" Austin laughs.

-

I find myself spread out on the sand reading when someone interrupts me, I look up to see Austin.

"We need to talk" he says softly.

"Yeah" I sigh, standing up.

"What is it?" He asks gesturing at my stomach. I look down at the slight bump which has begun to form.

"Human I hope," I laugh dryly, when I look up at him he looks unimpressed. "I'm not sure Austin, it's too early to tell"

"Oh, well I'm sorry" he sighs.

"It's alright"

"Listen, I have hopes and dreams to reach, goals. To do that with a child would be really hard, look- I'll stick around to raise it if you want to keep it or whatever, but if you don't want it, let me know"

"Austin this is our child. I know we're young but-"

"It's not inside of me it's in you this isn't my problem" he says bitterly.

"It wouldn't be inside me if it wasn't for your dick!" I snap.

"Shut up. I don't want it" He snaps

"So if I keep it, you won't be around to watch it grow"

"I will, I'll stay and help"

"No, I won't let you. It deserves a father who loves it anyways" I snap back. I don't know why I argue with Austin about it, I'm not keeping the child.

"I have school to worry about-"

"And I don't?" I shout.

"Let me rephrase that, I have school to worry about because I have a chance at life"

That was enough for me, I bring my fist to his face several times. "You dick, I have just as much of a chance as you do" I hiss

"Not with those grades" he chortles. I shove him off of me.

-

I wander over to Vic, Tony and Mike who are talking to the girls Austin was with and someone else.

"Scarlett! Come meet everyone" Vic cheers. Vic introduces me to the three girls he's standing with, the tall girl in the bikini, her name is Carly, the short girl dressed in a uniform goes by Keely and the girl Tony must have invited says her name is Katy.

"Hey, I'm Scarlett, I just moved here from Wisconsin"

"Wisconsin? I've always wanted to go there!" Carly beams.

"Really?" I ask, confused.

"No" she laughs

"Isn't it drab?" Keely cackles, Carly and Keely stalk away to go hang out with Austin again.

"Sorry about them, Carly hates everything and Keely doesn't have her own mind as far as I'm concerned" Katy sighs.

"It's fine" I mumble before walking back to Mike.

"We need to talk" he hisses. He grabs my hand and leads me to a quieter part of the beach.

"Mike-"

He doesn't give me anytime whatsoever to try and ask him anything. He leans down and kisses me fiercely, the difference in this kiss is it contains more feeling. His hands wander from his sides down my waist, my hands tangle in his hair, and his tongue begs for enterance.

I comply.

Our kiss on the beach has turned into a full out makeout party.

(A/N this is getting too steamy for my liking. So I'm gonna skip to a part I may be better at writing. I apologize if you felt awkward)

Mike releases me, I look up at him, his lips pink from pressure, assuming mine look the same I blush.

"I really like it when you kiss me" He mumbles.

Oops the end.
