I sighed, putting my notes, earbuds, and phone away. The teacher walked in, his arms full of papers. I began to lightly tap my foot, and spin my pencil. The guy sitting next to me tapped me on the shoulder, "Do you have a pencil I could borrow?" I pulled an extra pencil out of my bag, "Keep it." He seemed surprised, "Thank you so much!" I just nodded. "Heh heh hem," the teacher coughed, "put away everything but a pencil. We are about to start the final exam."
Whoop diddily fucking do.
The teacher slowly drifted up and down the isles handing out tests. I sighed when the packet landed on my desk. I flipped open the first page.
(I won't bore you with the whole test, but here are some highlights from my thought process)
End of the world calendar bull shit
Rome seemed to have the right basic idea
How old does a grave have to be before its archeology and not grave robbing?
Guns
Murder
Hitler dated? Like did people feel attracted to him? Or was it his power?
WW1 yay, Death
WW2 humans are stupid
An hour and a half, and two hundred questions later I had finished. I grabbed my stuff and dropped the packet on the front desk. I shut the door quietly, as to not disturb the other students. I walked off to the science building, back aching from the hard plastic chair. I set my bag down and stretched, rolling my shoulders. A series of pops and cracks followed, as well as some slight pain relief. I walked over to the door of my science room and peeked in. I'll have to wait out here. Test takers. I slid down the wall to sit. I rested my head in my hands, fingers running lightly over the scabbed over gash. Don't mess with it. It'll scar worse. My chewed down fingernails began to slightly scrape at the injury. Noooo. Stop it. The bell rang, and about twelve students fled from the room next to me. I stood up and entered the room. I scanned the room, empty. Where's Ms.Jackson? A figure came stumbling out of a supply closet, arms full of beakers. I set my bag down an jogged over to help them. I grabbed a few beakers from them. "Oh thank you," gasped Ms.Jackson,"Help me get this stuff to the demonstration table." I walked over to the large table at the center of the room and carefully set the chemical filled beakers down. "Hey! It's Jackie! Thanks for the help." Ms.Jackson smiled. "No problem," I replied, "big reaction today?" "You know it," she smirked. I walked over to my seat in the front row as other students began to trickle in. Ms.J finished setting up the demo and walked over to me. "Hey, I meant to ask. Uh. What happened?" She gestured at my face. "Got pushed down some stairs," I shrugged, "job problems." She shrugged it off as well, she was about to say something else when the bell rang. Her eyes lit up and she giggled happily. Skipping over to the table she called, "Demo time! Those in the front row, it's big so be wary!" The other kids in the front row groaned, I smiled. She may be slightly insane, but hey, it works. As she began to haphazardly mix chemicals, half the class leaned back in fear. "Now all we need is a little kick starter," she dropped some powder into the mix. It started to bubble violently. "And a spark," she held a lit match over it.  Whoosh, a massive blue fireball erupted upwards. A few students screamed. You would think they would be used to this by now. She's been doing it all year.  That was awesome. Fire is fun. "Now that you're all awake, let's take that final!" She cheered. I shook my head smiling, I will definitely visit this teacher again after the year was over. I began to work on the test. Easy.
--------------30 minutes later-------------
Whelp I'm done. Should I wait for someone else to finish. Nah. I'll have time to get lunch if I don't wait. I stood up, and grabbed my stuff. I walked over to the teachers computer desk. She glanced up from her Pac-Man game. Smirking knowingly she asked, "Done already? I expect great things from this final." I laughed slightly, handing her the test. "See ya around," I waved as I walked to the door. "See ya!" She called loudly. Shutting the door behind me I walked off to one of the cafes on campus. I arrived at a cafe a few minutes later. Hmm never been here before. Let's see if they have any good sounding food. A soft bell chimed above me as I pushed the door open. The store was empty expect for the girl on her phone behind the counter. I silently scanned the menu. Coffee, nah. Hot chocolate, ooh. A whole lot of muffins. Donuts. Ok I know what I'm getting. I looked at the girl, she never looked up from her phone. I cleared my throat. She shot upwards, clearly startled. "I'm sorry," she said, " I didn't hear you come in." There's a bell. "Welcome to Boost, how may I help you," she continued. "Hi, I'd like a small peppermint coco, and a classic glazed donut," I smiled warmly. "Will that be all," she asked. I nodded. "4.25," she read off the machine. I handed her a five and dropped the resulting change and an extra dollar in the tip jar. She must need money  for new clothes, wearing something that small. I rolled my eyes mentally. She handed me the donut in a small paper bag and a warm cup. "Have a nice day," she said the line as though she had a gun to her head and was ordered to be as sweet as possible. I simply nodded in reply. I headed off to the gyms for sports medicine. I finished my donut quickly and threw away the trash. I sipped on the warm liquid slowly as I silently drifted alone among the snowflakes. But am I really alone?
