Chapter 3: Dreaming of Blue Eyes

Carrie's POV

There was something about this man... I don't know what but definitely something, and I was not going to let him get me so easily

"Sir, Governor Tarkin has requested to see you in the Star Destroyer" a Death trooper said, he nodded and went back to his shuttle, taking me with him, but there were no troopers with us this time, I kept glancing at him, wondering why he took me and not Cassian or Jyn or anyone else, he looked determined to take me and no one else, but who was he? He looked like a big deal, but...

"What?" He asked after catching me looking at him

"You're Director Krennic, I presume" I said, it had to be him, Jyn was looking slightly frightened, he nodded

"And who might you be?" I smiled, he didn't sound like an asshole now, but he was an imperial leader so I was probably wrong

I looked into his eyes. Bad mistake. "Carrie" I felt like I was in heaven, like I had known him my whole life, like I could tell him anything... but I couldn't, could I?

His blue eyes were somehow inviting, and soothing, I couldn't understand why I felt this way. Even though his eyes were like ice, there was a small hint of hope and sadness in them, I shouldn't care, but I couldn't help it, if he was in the Empire, what was that hope for?

We got to the Star Destroyer and Krennic grabbed my arm "Oi! Back off!" I told him, he let go of my wrist and took a step back, realizing I had a blaster "you're lucky we're in your weird spaceraft thingy or you'd be dead" he simply chuckled and took the blaster from my belt

We walked a few meters further from the shuttle and the Rebel ship I'd been in just hours ago was there, they really did come... "Carrie!" Cassian called, running out of the ship followed by Bodhi and Jyn, the director turned and got his blaster and I snatched mine from Krennic's hand, I aimed to him and he froze

"Shoot one of them and you're dead" I said, he lowered his blaster and turned to me, I was amazed by how stupid he was for not making sure I couldn't get my weapon back so easily

"Well then I guess I'll have to shoot you" he said, but he didn't have time to aim because Cassian and Bodhi got their blasters "wow Rook, I never thought I'd see you with a blaster... well, I never thought I'd see you in the Rebel side"

"Well, I never thought you'd be so soulless to kidnap a 20 year old who's done nothing to you, but I guess we were both wrong" Bodhi said calmly

Jyn stood behind them, hatred written all over her face, but Krennic didn't seem to notice her, he was too busy making sure none of us shot him "I'm hurt by that, you really thought I wouldn't do anything for the Empire?" The imperial director gasped dramatically "you have two options, you actually shoot and kill me to get her back, or you leave and let me do my thing" he said "but whatever you do, don't underestimate me, I can get you all killed within two seconds if I want to" he threatened

The three rebels exchanged a look and looked at me again "we'll be back, I promise" Bodhi smiled, I nodded and they left again, leaving me and Krennic alone again

"Alright Carrie, what were you and your pitiful rebel friends doing in the base?" He asked after a few moments of silence

I bit my lip as he turned to face the window of the Star Destroyer "you can't be serious" he chuckled "if you don't know, you really need some help"

"You're right, I am going to need some help" he said not looking away from the window "I'm going to need your help, I'm gonna need you to tell me where your friends are heading now" he looked back at me and my heart skipped a beat as I saw his blue eyes again

I tried my best not to show the mixed emotions I was feeling and frowned "you have to be kidding me, you really think I'd tell you what they're doing so you can kill them?"

"They all had their chance to stay and kill me to save you and they didn't, now they're getting what they deserve for being part of the Rebel Alliance" he said slightly threatening

"You're going to have the same fate as them if something happens" I threatened

"Wow, I didn't think you'd dare" he said as a man walked in "either way, I'll get what I want"

"What are you? The spoilt only child or the spoilt and annoying little sibling?" I said sassily, he rolled his eyes and went to take me back to the Death Star

"Who's this, Director Krennic?" The man asked, the director stopped and sighed, he looked suddenly annoyed

"That's none of your buisness Governor Tarkin, I am the one who has to deal with all this so my creation doesn't get blown up" Krennic said as we left

"The Death Star will be mine, Director, remember my words" Tarkin said, Krennic stopped in his tracks and tightened his grip on my wrist, I knew he was trying his best not to kill him, to be part of the Empire, he did have patience with everything

A blaster was heard and Jyn ran to us "let go of her, Krennic" she said, ready to shoot him, he looked back at Tarkin, who was looking at us and let go, pushing me lightly to Jyn, I knew he did it to piss the Governor off, but didn't he realize that he could and probably would get killed because of that? Jyn and I ran away and met Cassian, Bodhi, Chirrut, Baze and K2 in the ship, Cassian and K2 got in the pilot and copilot's seat and Bodhi, Jyn and I focused on shooting stormtroopers

"Carrie, come on! We're almost there!" Baze called, I looked up and saw Krennic "Carrie!" I followed him and Chirrut as Cassian and Jyn got the plans

"I'll meet you at the tower!" I shouted over the battle loudness, they nodded and left, I turned and met Krennic, he looked relieved that I was there "they are getting the plans" I told him

He smiled "I know, but I don't care, you're here, I thought you were dead when I saw all the explosions" I smiled and kissed him "I love you darling"

"I love you too, Orson... always" His eyes lit up with every laser that flew in the sky, I couldn't help but notice that they weren't ice anymore, they were peaceful, and I couldn't love it more

I opened my eyes suddenly, I was in my room, in the base. I heard Cassian and Jyn arguing again, and walked to them, they stopped yelling when they saw me "Jyn, can I ask you something?" I asked carefully, she nodded "What's Director Krennic's first name?"

They exchanged a look and Jyn looked at me "Orson. His name is Orson Callan Krennic... why?" I froze, was I really dreaming of him and said his actual name without knowing it?

But those blue eyes...
