I marked this chapter as a trigger warning on my other platform because of the topic discussed. It's not very in-depth or detailed, but I marked it just to stay safe. Enjoy~
I was back in work again. Yoongi must've told the boys that I was upset over something because the rest of my time off, no one contacted me other than Namjoon bringing news that he couldn't expand the contract. Which didn't matter anyways because I'd be skinned alive if they did. Even though I was 22 and moved out, my parents were really strict about who I chose to spend my time with so they've been monitoring me ever since the day Hyejin told my mom. As much as I had complained about going on back to back dates with the boys, I kind of missed it.
I was even half tempted to call Yoongi when I woke up this morning but my mom decided to call and tell me that I had to get a birthday gift for dad. Which, I mean, was pretty reasonable. But his birthday is tomorrow so it just goes to show how much she's trying to keep me away from the boys.
Who's first task haven't I done yet? I did Namjoon's, Hobi's, Jungkook's, and Jimin's... Taehyung doesn't have a first task anymore. I guess that leaves Jin and Yoongi. I just hope these tasks go by quickly so I can stop getting stalked by my own mother.
"Hana." Hyejin came into the apartment without knocking. "Hana! You haven't talked to me for days!"
"I'm just frustrated with you. It'll go away." I sighed, petting Chico's head as the film played in front of me. "I have to go shopping for my dad, do you want to come with?"
"No!" She stomped her feet and left.
"Fine. You came here on your own anyways." I sighed to myself, glancing down at Chico. "At least you love me, huh?"
I continued to just lounge around before deciding to get up and go out to get the present. I jogged down the complex steps and nearly knocked Yoongi over as he appeared right in front of me.
"Oh?" I stared at him with wide eyes as I froze in place. "What are you doing here?"
He rubbed the back of his neck a bit awkwardly. "How are you doing? I told the guys to give you space."
"I thought so." I smiled warmly in return. "That was a very thoughtful thing to do."
"Well.. Whenever I'm upset, I always tell people to give me some space for a while.. So I'm happy it worked for you as well." He smiled a little as well. "I was coming to check on you to make sure you didn't get sick or anything."
"Thanks." My heart warmed a bit. "Ah, Yoongi, do you want to go shopping with me?"
He looked a bit shocked. "Shopping? Why?"
"My dad's birthday is tomorrow so I have to get him a present. And to be honest, I was dreading going by myself. But you showed up."
"I guess so." He nodded a little.
"Come on, let's take the bus." I looped arms with him, feeling his body immediately tense up at the contact. Right. I'm helping him get use to this. I let go of his arm and grabbed his hand instead.
"H-Hana." He protested as I dragged him along but I didn't listen.
"Get use to it, Yoongi! I told you that I'm going to do things like this more often with you! It's for your own sake." I giggled a bit and stopped dragging him, letting him walk a bit stiffly by my side. "It's cold, isn't it? It hasn't snowed in a really long time though."
"Christmas is coming up." Yoongi commented, a bit hesitantly. "Do you have plans then?"
"Usually I go over to my parents for breakfast and gifts and then spend the rest of my time on my own. Why? Do you want to spend it with me?" I shared a brief glance with him until he looked away, his face flushing a bit. And I thought he was going to be an ass when I fist met him. He's so shy and adorable. "You can spend it with me."
