Finally Saved

AUTHORS NOTE

This is about Jesus knocking on people's heart's door, Jesus calling people to be saved, Jesus calling me to be saved, and me finally accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

FINALLY SAVED

A pounding in my heart,

I am sure others can hear.

It lets me know,

Jesus is near.

I listen to Him knock.

He is wanting to come in.

So he can cleanse me of my sins.

But I decide against kneeling down to pray.

And the pounding continues,

Even after Jesus walks away.

Around others I wear a happy mask,

But Jesus sees through my facade,

And to let him in, He continues to ask.

When He comes back by,

I hear Jesus calls out,

"Will you invite me in? This chance maybe your last."

What if he does not come back?

What if this is my last chance?

These questions run through my head,

As I kneel beside my bed.

"Jesus I am sorry, I have sinned. Please forgive me. I do not want to go to hell. Please save me Jesus. I thought I knew you but I never did. Please save me. Come into my heart and live."

I open up the door,

And let the Savior in.

He welcomes me in His loving arms,

And says, "You will never have to worry about going to hell again."

I no longer have to put on a joyful charade.

I accepted the free gift of salvation,

Better than any gift made.

I am finally saved.

Thank you Jesus for saving me.

Salvation is better than any gift. Jesus has saved my life, he has saved my soul. I love Jesus. He loves me and died for me. Please accept Him too.
