AUTHORS NOTE
I do not have children, but I have a friend who has a baby, and I have heard messages preached on children, and my preacher wrote a song about children who have been aborted. I don't remeber the song word for word, but it is very true and sad.

CHILDREN
Blessings from our Heavenly Father.
A gift you will love unconditionally.
Whether planned or not for you.
God never makes a mistake.
Don't throw God's gift away.
For He has a plan for them,
Like He does you and me.
They can be a leader for God,
They could be the answered prayer,
That would become the doctor to cure cancer.
Children are gifts, they are rewards,
That God has given us to love.

This is an excerpt from Bible verses that relates to the poem.
Jeremiah 1:5 - Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Before you came into this world, God knew you. He created you, He saved you, and He has a plan for you. God has a plan for everyone. I believe abortion is wrong. Your children are a gift from God, and when you remove that baby from your womb, you are throwing away a gift from God. God has a plan for that baby. My preacher wrote a song about aborted babies. I don't know it by heart, but I remember the message. We pray for a cure for cancer. What if God sent us the answer in the form of a baby that would eventually become a doctor? However, that baby was aborted. We pray for people who will help turn this world back towards God so that more people can get saved. What if God sent us the answer in the form of a baby that would become a preacher? Or, the baby could be an average person, like me; however, God has a plan for me and you, just like all of those aborted babies. Your children are not mistakes. God never makes a mistake. Your children could be unplanned blessings, but they are never mistakes.
Psalm 127:3-5
3 Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Like I said, I don't have children, but God led me to write this poem. Let all the glory, and credit go to God.
