Part two out of two of the "one"shot "snow day". In this one they play with snow.

When the boys opened the backdoor a winter wonderland presented its self to the two. Snow covered tree branches and the ground in a thick, at least 5 inch blankets.
The air was crisp (-er rip) and cold. Stinging their lungs a bit. Delicate snowflakes were swaying through the air settling on the two boys.
Josh looked over at the smaller boy, his eyes filled sparkling with amazement. He deemed this the perfect time to scoop a handful of snow and throw it at Tyler. It landed on his shoulder, a bit hitting his face. He gasped, and stood in shock for a second before a devious smile played on his face. He grabbed as much snow as a he could, packed it down a threw it a josh. It landed smack in the middle of his face. They both went quiet for a moment, which josh broke by starting to wipe the snow off, which is when Tyler broke out of his daze
"Oh my gosh, joshy are you okay? I didnt mean to hit you right in the face."
But josh was already laughing, with a handful of snow. Ready for pay back. He slide the snow up underneath the back of his coat.
"Hey!" Tyler yelped jumping around trying to brush out the snow while josh's laughter increased at the smaller boy.
The two ran around pelting each other with snowballs, till both were out of breath and cherry-cheeked.
"Let's build a snow man joshy" tyler suggested through breaths. A big toothy smile on his face.
Tyler and Josh worked on a snowman they decided to name "jermey" giggling and talking while making this slightly lopsided snowman.
They stepped back and looked st their master piece. Both almost satisfied.
"Oh wait he needs a face!" Josh exclaimed realizing why poor jermey looked so incomplete. He walked over to it a dragged his finger through the snow, carving out a face, while tyler wrote jeremey, his, and joshs name in the snow around it.
Now that the snowdude, as josh put it, was finished and both boy's noses were red and runny, they decided to go back inside.
They trudged back to the house, peeling off the wet clothes and putting on warm pajamas.
"Want some hot cocoa ty?" Josh asked while putting their wet clothes in a hamper.
"Yes!" Tyler said giddily running passed josh to the kitchen to start up the keurig (that's how I make hot choclate so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
When josh made it to the kitchen he grabbed the hot chocolate powder and marshmellow.
When they finished making the chocolately beverage they laid down on the couch, tyler snuggling into josh's chest while he put on their favorite Christmas movie "A Nightmare Before Christmas" and tucked his free are over tylers chest.
They both sat intently watching the movie, josh giggling every once in a while when he noticed tyler humming along to the music on the movie.
Warm.
