josh was sitting on the couch watching jeopardy when he heard the front door opening, signaling tyler was home from one of his many shopping trips. 

josh jumped up to help tyler with the bags, carrying them to their room. he peaked at the bags, mostly seeing clothes but them he saw a lush bag. lush was one of their favorite stores, they loved making concoctions of the sweet smelling products and making a herbely(not a word but oh well) colorful, smelling bath. they also had a good bathtub, the kind with the jets. 

Once they got all of the bags in the room, messily jumbled together though, josh snatched up the lush bag and brought it to the bathroom, tyler close behind him.

josh looked through the contents with a pleased smile.

"figured we needed something to relax us after all the stress we've had." tyler said while picking up a rose infused, black bath bomb.

"wanna use that?" josh asked eyeing the thing, noticing it had rose petals in it.

"yessss, as soon as i saw it i fell in love with it" the smaller boy said while walking over to the bath and turning on the water then running his hand under it to make sure its not too hot. 

while the tub filled josh went and got towels and his phone so they could play music on their speaker. He turned on his bath mix which was just quiet, soft songs. The volume was preset to low so it wasn't distracting or annoying to try to talk over.

A few minutes past and the tub was comfortably full of water. 

tyler turned off the tap and grabbed the bath bomb, getting joshs attention. they both stared attentively as tyler plunked the bath bomb in the water. gazing in awe as black filled the tub, rose petals scattering when they started  mixing with their hands. 

as the bath bomb dissolved the two boys undressed, stripping from their warm clothes into the cold air. tyler shivered when he was fully undressed, josh neatly put their clothes in the hamper turning to see the bath bomb fully dissolved. 

josh usually got in first so tyler could curl up on his lap, he started to get in when he hear a quiet laugh,

"cute butt." tyler said with a toothy grin, giggling at his own joke. 

josh smirked then completly submerged himself in the dark water. shoulders relaxing as the warmth enveloped him.

then tyler got in, his tan skin always looked good against black and this was no exception.

"cute butt" josh said making both of them laugh. 

tyler sunk into joshs chest fitting comfortably between his legs, his back was facing josh so the bigger boy could easily play with his fluffy hair. 

they laid in a comfortable silence, listening to the quiet music and each other soft breaths.

 the sweet smell of rose filled the air and with each inhale the soft, saccharine air pacified the two boys. 

they sat there for a while, josh combing tylers velvety hair and tyler tracing joshs intricate tattoo.

they stay stretched out enjoying the others company when josh realizes that the smaller boy has stopped tracing his tattoo, he looks down and notices the rose cheeked boy has fallen asleep in his arms. his heart warms at the absolutely precious sight of his lover asleep in his arms. He lays his head on the back of the tub, and inhales deeply, thanking god for tyler. josh sometimes couldn't believe how lucky he got.

tyler woke up to the feeling of luke warm water, opening his eyes groggily.

"morning sleepy head" he heard josh say

"morning? did i really sleep all night in a bath tub"  he asked while peeling rose petals off his skin.

"no, just half an hour" josh said warmly, kissing tylers forehead. 

the smaller boy looked down at his fingers, then showed them to josh

"looks like its time to get out" he said while holding up his wrinkled fingers. 

he reached behind him and uncovered the drain, josh then stood up and grabbed their towels. putting one around him then ruffling tylers hair with the other.

once in their warm pjs the two boys cuddled under the covers of their bed, tyler curled half on joshs chest and half glued to his side like a cat. both nearly asleep as soon as their head hit the overly fluffy pillows.
