"Wait why are you guys crying?!" I asked the girls who were tearing up. We were at aaishahs house and it's been a few weeks since Harris and I have split.

"We told you if you two broke up we'd cry you two were sooo cute and such goals." Aaishah said pulling herself together.

"So what are you going to do now? Move on?" Fatima asked I nodded.

"Well I'm not going back to him maybe we could be friends but nothing more than that, so I guess I'm going to have to move on." I sighed.

"Will you ever get back with him?"kainat asked hopeful.

"No I don't think so." I shrugged I honestly didn't know and I didn't care...ok maybe I care a little.

"So you're going to date-

"No I'm not going to date for a LONG time, Harris was the first boy I ever loved, probably the last too." I said looking down at my hands.

"No don't say that." Aaishah said.

"Have you talked to him lately?" Fatima tilted her head I shook my head,

"I haven't talked to him since we...yeah." I trailed off there was a knock on the door, aaishah answered it revealing the boys I saw the, come in and my eyes locked with Harris, the girls knew he'd be here this is their plan omg 🤦‍♀️.

I quickly looked at the girls who chuckled sheepishly.

"Heyyyy Harris I didn't know you'd be here." Kainat lied.

"Yeah you did you begged me t-

"Shhh psh we don't know what your talking about." Fatima cut him off.

"Well have fun I have to go feed my...cat." I said making up and excuse to leave.

"You don't have a cat." Shaddy snickered.

" then I'll get one." I said heading for the door but jay pulled me back.

"Yeah ok sit your ass down." He said and I did as told knowing they wouldn't let me go anywhere.

"I'll go get some stuff." Aaishah said and left to the kitchen if allowed her quickly.

" yaz you know you can't avoid him forever, especially not since we're ALL very close and see each other like every day." Aaishah said smiling a bit I sighed.

"I know, but I just can't look at him he makes me feel,

"In love?" She asked.

"What do I do? I don't want to go back to him I can't." I said she tilted her head.

"Then maybe... try dating-

"I'm not going to date someone right after I got out of a relationship it hasn't even been a month, I'm not ready." I said just then Harris came into the kitchen Aaishah looked at him and walked out I grabbed her hand.

" babes come on." She laughed and walked out, I looked at Harris and tried walking past him but he held my wrist.

"L-Yaz can we talk?" He asked I looked down the floor suddenly become interesting.

"There's nothing to talk about." I said.

"Yes there is." He said.

"Harris, I think it's best if we stay friends, like the old times." I said he looked...hurt, but why? He doesn't love me so why does he care?

"Yeah I agree." He said, well I didn't know whether to be relieved or upset that he didn't even try to convince me to take him back, maybe he didn't care after all, but everything he said at the bea-no Yasmine that's all gone.
