(Thx for all the support guys! I will try to get chappies out regularly, but I went on a writing spree (free of writers block, might i add) and got out two more of em. Hope i am not spamming y'all too much. XP)
It wasn't nearly as cold now that it was brighter outside, and you had been leaning against James. He seemed to have fallen asleep, for his steady breaths wouldn't change rhythm like yours did every time you got distracted, and he didn't move. Would it be sleeping in Minecraft? Or would he be AFK? Why does it matter? (cause i want to know if he is keeping chunks loaded! can someone let me know? so i can correct myself? thx in advanced)
You take another breath, messing up your rhythm again. Lifting your head off of his chest, you place your arm on the armrest, trying to get up without waking the man next to you. You pushed off, and were able to get up. Turning around, you watch his mouth open in a groan. His hand moved around, seemingly subconsciously, trying to find your body. You, without giving your brain the order, grab his hand, calming him back to sleep.
"It's ok, James. I'll be right back." You let go of his black-skinned hand gently, letting it slowly to the floor of the couch.
The cold stone floor sucked at your socks, and you notice your boots sitting in the corner next to the fireplace. It was obvious who had done it, but for no apparent reason. Sidestepping a piece of stone that was jutting from the wall, you step into the bedroom, and take your white shirt off of the andesite shelf. Slipping it over your sleek chest, you feel the cold fabric rough up your skin a little before starting to warm. You had left the door to the room open, and when you exited, you did the same, not wanting to wake up James. You grabbed an apple from one of the chests in the kitchen, as well as an axe, and decide to do a little exploring.
The outside world was full of spruce and extreme hills with beautiful views. The sky was full of blue, with a few clouds dotted about, about the size of a clump of glowstone. You climb one of the hills, and see a taiga, covered in snow. That must've been why it was always so cold. There were a few footprints in the snow, and you decided to follow them. After a while, you showed up to another abandoned cave. It looked more like it had been a nice house that had been blown up one too many times. Underneath looked as if there was a base, hidden from the outside.
(If you guessed that this was Steve's house, im proud to say that your damn right. GG)
You were curious, so you tried to find an entrance. It was a poorly hidden iron door and button. Walking inside, it was warm, like there was a fire going, and well-lit. It was a welcoming sight after all the snow you'd been trudging through for the last while. You had just heard the door slam behind you when your whole scenery changed without warning.
"Oh thank Notch. I was so worried!" James's familiar voice wrapped around you, as did your body get squashed in a hug.
"Worried?" You question him from within the bear hug. "Why were your worried? I was perfectly fine. I just went out exploring."
He stepped away from you. "I just thought that someone might have took you back to the real world."
"Why?" You were so confused. Did he anger Herobrine or something? If he did, you're both fucked.
"Don't worry about it. Are you hungry?" He tried to change the subject. You just went along with it.
"Naw. I had one of your apples. Speaking of that, I also took your iron axe. Want it back?"
"No that's fine. I'm glad you took some sort of weapon." He told you.
He walked back into the kitchen, and you sat down on the love-seat, warming your hands against the fire, which was still burning. James came back wearing one of his cloaks, and you sighed disappointingly to yourself. He gave you a weird look, and you prayed that he couldn't understand what you meant by it.
"Hey, shirt for a shirt." He smirked at you.
You blush, but there is no going back. He already knew what you were thinking. "But it's cold to me, not you."
"Shirt for a shirt." He stuck out his tongue, making you shake your head at his childishness.
"If you take us somewhere warmer..." You lead on.
He takes his time responding. "Command is ready. Say the word, and we're in a desert."
You look at him with a suspicious face. "How about plains? Some regular temperature place." You ask him.
"Sure." He spends another little bit, and gives you the 'ok' signal with his hands. "Done, and done."
The suspicious look returned to your face. "Both of us?"
He nodded.
"Shirt for a shirt... " You tried to make sure he was telling the truth.
He nodded again. "Just let me grab a diamond sword and we can be out all night."
"You swear to it?"
"Sure. I swear." He said.
"James, take your hands out from behind your back and swear again." You caught him.
He sighed. "There is just no getting past you, is there?"
The landscape changed again, and you were suddenly in a very arid desert. You immediately felt heat starting at your hairline, creating droplets of salty sweat that attempted to fall off your face. Your wiped them off before they could get away.
"Why the hell...? James, what the fuck did you do?!"
(I don't know if that is considered a cliff hanger, but i apologize in advance because it probably isn't. Sry folks. have a good day (Y/N))
