Ana

I wake up at my usual time and do my normal routine until I become flustered at seeing a body displayed on the sofa. It was Dylan, what the hell? This must be a dream.

Maybe it's just my subconscious still fast asleep. He moans a little until he turns on his side. I sighed, moving my feet to the kitchen as my feet meet with the cold white tiles.

I grab the box of fruity pebbles pouring half a bowl. I happily open the refrigerator scanning the fridge with my eyes until I spot the milk.

After the bowl is filled with milk, I grab a spoon and an apple walking back to the living room. There he was with his back turn towards me.

I sat on the couch adjacent from him as I turn on the television. He stirs in his sleep while mumbling, from the television of Spongebob and Patrick acting ridiculously stupid.

His eyes met mine as I popped a spoon full of fruity pebbles into my mouth. He chuckles lightly when I blush at what has just happened two seconds ago, not realizing he was watching me eat like a cow.

"Good morning, greedy." He jokes. I smiled at him, mumbling a "good morning" back. He is so adorable when he is awake, way more sexy with the morning voice.

His hair is messy and his lips are tucked tight into a lazy grin.

He heads to the kitchen a few minutes later with a bowl of fruity pebbles as well.

"Copycat," I said hysterical shaking my head. He laughs mischievously.

"You know when we were younger, I would mock you every chance I get and do it on purpose." He grins shoving my shoulder playfully.

"Oh, like I did not recognize," I stated sarcastically.

"Well, what are you doing over so early?" I ask curiously but before he can explain, we get erupted when Liz walks in.

"Good morning brother and best friend." She yawns sleepily.

Therefore I got an explanation from Elizabeth. She said Dylan and his wife are not in good terms right now which means they are leading to a divorce. What is holding them back is the sake of their daughter. Dylan prays he wins over custody of his daughter.

It will be so sad if he doesn't because his daughter and he are very close. I doubt they can be separated from time to time. It will break his daughter's heart as well. And speaking of Dylan's daughter, he went back home to collect some more clothes since his wife kicked him out and he is currently staying under our roof with the extra bed and bath until he gets his own place. He was one of Florida's top detectives in the state. Yes, they live in a decent house. It is in Dylan's name but he's letting her live there. Unfortunately, they have signed a prenuptial agreement. Sadly, if she is divorcing him she most likely is leaving with nothing. Because she dedicated her life to Dylan before she got a great job, and he is really wealthy coming from one of the wealthiest families with Lizzy. Dylan's wife does not make as much as Dylan but he still loved her. She owns a corporation of a four-star restaurant in Florida and is the general manager.

If she wins custody of their three-year-old daughter, then she still leaves with nothing except her own things and money.

I mean who would leave someone sweet, charming, and brave like Dylan. If I was his wife, I would cater him as much as possible and give him what he needs.

I smiled at Dylan as he smiled back before walking out the front door mumbling he will be back.

God, please grant me faith.

I think I am falling in love with Dylan all over again.
