I groaned awakening out of my sleep with Lelia on my chest. I carefully placed her back into bed kissing her cheek. She smiles in her sleep sensing my parenting. I will make a great mom one day hopefully soon. I shut the door slowly and walking into the kitchen entrance. I feel the wall in search of the light switch. Finally, I felt the switch and flip it on. The theme was comfy with white cabinets engineered lacquered, solid hardwood laminate flooring, red pendant lights ideas. The oak wooden cabinets and frosted glass pendant la candle holder decorator. Elizabeth fell in love with the idea of the theme that was offered. I prefer green since it is my favorite color and a theme for my dream wedding.

I sip a little of water then pouring it down the drain. I leave the kitchen and walking into the bedroom. Dylan was already in the bed tucked away.

I laid down with my face facing his. He smiled at me weakly and I smiled back with the biggest grin on my face.

"I miss you." I said honesty.

"I miss you too." He replies back pecking my lips.

"Thanks for the flowers by the way. They are beautiful." I thanked him.

"Your welcome, Ana." He smiles.

"Good night."

"Good night."

I drop Lelia off to daycare and started my day already yelling to my employees about sanitary improvements before the health inspector arrives. Wow, what a day.

Dylan

I called my partner and mentioned I will be out for the rest of the day because my daughter has the stomach bug. He understands and tells Captain. He approves. It was really, a lie and I lied to Ana as well. Which I have never done before. But I am protecting my family, and Ana for good sake. I can not put anyone at risk not even Ana. This is between me and Dallas.

I waited until it was 12 to go meet Dallas at the park. I order a coffee and bagel from a coffee shop. After I have ate the bagel and drown the coffee down it was time to meet up with Dallas. I was in search for Dallas, I didn't spot her until I noticed a little blondie sitting alone on the benches besides the kid's playground. Her beachy curls wanded at her shoulders and small head carved like a question mark. I walk towards the human figure. I sat besides her watching the kids playing on the swings set.

"It took you long enough, that you had to lie to the Captain about missing work, ooh what a bad boy you are?" She said mocking me. How in the hell, she knows that. I ignored her ignorance watching the little boy goes down the slide.

"Cut to the chase, what do you want to negotiate?" I said, impatiently.

"I miss you Dy, why rush? We have plenty of time to catch up." She teases.

"Dallas." I demanded. She scoffs by rolling her ocean blue eyes.

"I want Lelia back." She said.

"Tsk, I knew that." I said sarcastically.

"Give me my daughter and I will leave you and your precious Ana alone for good." She said, annoyed of the mention of Ana's name.

"Lelia is not going no where, and getting full custody will not help." I said honesty.

I decided to leave, because Dallas is not talking about shit.

"Where you going? we are not finish here because I did not finish the rest of my agreement." I turned around facing her powder face.

"When I said, give me Lelia and I will leave you alone and if you chosen the stubborn response which you did." She stammed.

I nodded for her to carry on. "Well, I miss you and Lelia. So we can reunite our family. But you have to leave Anastasia." My face drop to the ground of the last thing she said broken me.

Dallas begin leaving until she said one unforgettable thing that will haunt me forever. "If you don't leave Anastasia, she will die because I will kill the bitch myself."

Dallas was gone.

A tear fell onto my cheek along with my heart falling out of my chest.

There is nothing I can do now, Dallas is apart of an undercover agent involved with someone in the Federal Department. I can risk my career if she goes and tell them that I am involved in a kidnapping. I can not go to the Police Station asking for help even though I am a detective. Oh my God, Ana.

I am making the decision to protect Ana, I have to save the love of my life. I will still keep up with her until the time is right to find our way back to each other. I am a detective. I'm secretive. I'm putting my love on the line for my true love which is Ana.

I have to leave Ana.

If I have to chase down Ana as a criminal I will because she is the love of my life. My mom always said, "It's okay chasing love if you got it, keep it while it's there for a very long time."
