"Lelia, honey are you ready?" I called from downstairs. We were getting ready to leave for our church service this morning for Easter Sunday. So Lelia is dressed in a yellow and blue sundress with matching sandals.

Lelia comes running down the stairs with a smile on her face with her sandals in her hand. She looked so beautiful with her sundress that I picked out for her last week. I was dressed basically in a light pink pencil skirt, an ivory colored blouse, and black flats.

I glanced at the watch with my hands on my hips. I know someone else was missing from the group and it was Dylan, of course.

"Dylan!" I called out, frustrated because we were already late and Dylan said we would be attending church together for the first time with Lelia.

I busted into my bedroom door with a sleepily Dylan hanging off the bed tiredly with messy hair and bareback facing me. He groaned a little until I sat by his side, playing with the tips of his hair.

"Mom?" He whispers jokingly. I dig deeper into his hair and he smiles.

"Baby, it's time to get up. There is breakfast downstairs." I kiss his cheek.

"And if you don't get up, you will regret it later." I threatened.
Suddenly when Dylan recognizes my insults. His eyes completely opened wider than usual. When he kisses my cheeks and starts getting ready.

We arrived ten minutes late because of Dylan's long slumber. He apologized earlier, saying he will make it up to me. Dylan and I have been trying this new family thing since Lelia is apart of my life too now.

I take care of her as my own. It was after the service now and Dylan was telling the pastor of the church that he would like Lelia to get baptized next Sunday while Lelia and I were sitting on the bench waiting for Dylan. I played with her hair while she played with my phone.

I look around because I had an unusual feeling that I was being watched. I ignored it, after not finding anyone, and went back to playing with Lelia's hair. However, I did not know Dylan was standing there in front of us with a big smile on his face with his hands in his pockets.

"What?" I chuckled nervously.

"You both look so beautiful." He smiles.

"Thank you." I smiled back.

It was around dinner time, Lelia was already fed, bathed, and happily sleeping. Dylan and I had just finished eating. He stayed up and helped with the dishes.

John and Lizzy were on vacation for about five months. They were traveling all over the world going to Canada, Italy, and Brazil of what she had told me so far.

I had finished the last set of dishes with Dylan. I stood there daydreaming. Dylan poked me in my side, pulling me back to reality.

"Tired?" He wraps his arms around my waist. I shook my head placing my arms around his neck after turning to face him. "What is it then?" I bit my lip not making eye contact.

"Today, after the service, I felt like I was being watched when I was with Leila," I said honestly.

"Well, I will be around you a lot more if that will makes you more comfortable." He responds.
I nodded kissing him tenderly.

But honestly? It didn't help the lingering feeling I had. Something bad was going to happen and I couldn't shake it.
