**Iolani POV**

Since I had to work until early afternoon but knew I needed to clean the apartment from top to bottom in preparation of Lo's arrival tomorrow, I thought I'd stop out at a local diner for an early dinner and make a stop to the record store on my way home.

I'd been wanting to stop there for the last few days so I could check out some of my e ipo's work...figured if nothing else, it might tell me more about who he really is than any article could ever say. Guess now's as good a time as any to test out that theory...

So with a full belly and a bag full of several of his CDs, I find myself at home getting ready to clean. But where do I start?

My eyes lay on Molly Jr.'s bowl figuring there's as good a place to start as any...so while I grab everything necessary to start the clean up there, I quickly go through my new album purchases deciding to start with one that brings up some happier memories for both him and I...the cabin.

I pull out the CD with the cover matching the one in the hidden record stash which is apparently titled, Around the World in a Day, and pop it into my portable CD player and get to work...quickly getting lost in my memories.

I can't help but to remember the first time I laid eyes on him. While it was only a little over a month ago, so much has happened since then that I can't help but to get caught up on the sweetness of the memory. It's funny how it becomes so easy to forget the little things when things start to get complicated.

Just the thought of him hobbling past that souvenir shop on his broken heel, as I reach out to pull him inside to safety still brings a smile to my face. Little did I know much that split second decision would alter the entire course of both our lives.

With Molly Jr.'s bowl cleaned I quickly tossed some fish food into her bowl, bopping along to the music as I start to get a mop and bucket together to tackle the kitchen and bathroom floors as the music plays on, thoughts of the two of us dancing around the cabin to this very album filling my head. How did I not realize it was him all along? Furthermore...how didn't he...?

As I start mopping my way through the kitchen, bopping along to the music, my memories soon envelope me once again as a wistful smile lights up my face.

Our early days together were awkward at best...just two strangers trying to get to know each other, with one of them not even knowing exactly who he was, but it didn't seem to take long for the two of us to settle into a routine and an unexpected friendship to form...even as he struggled to regain any sense of his former self.
