A Graceful Melody (An EXO Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

It is around twelve thirty when the girls get dismissed from school, they gather their things, walk out of the school, and start to walk towards the car. Ariel unlocks it, and as the girls got into the car, Charlene sits in the front.

"I wanna sit in the front!" Kimberly whines, knocking on the window. Charlene shakes her head.

"No! I wanna sit in the front. You sit on the hump."

"But I don't like the hump.." Kimberly mumbles, opening the side door and sitting behind Charlene with a huff.

"Oh, stop whining, Kimbo. At least you will sleep on the couch, Charlene and me will get the floor." Ariel says, turning the car on and backing out of the parking lot.

"I want chicken nuggets." Kimberly says to Ariel who is ordering at the take out line at Chik-Fil-A.

"Okay, I would like one order of chicken nuggets, and two chicken sandwiches please." Ariel says to the drive through person. The lady tells them their total then Ariel drives forward and goes up to the lane to pick up their food.

"Thank you, come again." She says with a slight rudeness in her tone, looking at Ariel and her friends with disgust. Ariel grabs their food, hands the lady the money, the food to Charlene, then drives away. Charlene decides to eat her food, and gives Kimberly hers. After Kimberly finishes her food, she takes her phone out of her jacket pocket.

"I found this online." Kimberly says, showing a weird number to Charlene from her phone then trying to show it to Ariel.

"Girl, I'm driving! I can't look at that right now, but what is it?" Ariel says, watching the road and stopping at a stop light.

"It's Kai's LINE I.D. I think we could try to see if it's real." Kimberly says, showing Charlene her phone again.

"It could be a creeper, are you sure?" Ariel says. Charlene shrugs and looks back at her friend.

"Try it, ask him to teleport to our car. Last time I checked, EXO really has powers." Charlene asks, sarcasm in her voice. Kimberly types a few things into her phone and then looks forward, with no words.

After a few seconds, there is a weird sound to the side of Kimberly. Kimberly looks there, then sees a guy sitting there with his phone in his hand. Kimberly puts her hands over her mouth and then when he opens his mouth, she puts her hand over it and shakes her head. She puts a finger over her lips and when he nods, she takes it away.

When they arrive at Ariel's house, Ariel looks in her rear view mirror and tilts it to the left and gasps. Charlene turns around and squeals.

"Oh my god! You actually did it?" Charlene gasps, her face turning red at the sight of Kai in their backseat. He just nods and smiles at her, showing her a pearly white smile.

"That's awesome, do you want to come inside? If not, I understand, but I don't advise you to stay in the car." Ariel says, calming down after a few breaths. Kai laughs and nods, understanding Ariel.

"You can understand us?" Ariel asks, Kai nods and chuckles.

"Yes, I do. I can speak English, but only to an extent." He says, with a strong Korean accent in his voice.

"Don't worry I speak Korean just in case." Ariel says in Korean, then turning the key and shutting the car off.

The girls step out of the car and Kai notices their dresses and his eyes widen a bit, then he opens the door and the girls are there waiting. Charlene walks over to the trash can holding the bag of Chik-Fil-A, that Charlene and Kimberly devoured on the way home.
