A Graceful Melody (An EXO Fanfiction)

Chapter 3

The Next Day..

Ariel looks down at her phone and checks the time, it's nine ten in the morning. She looks around again, and sees Luhan shivering. She gets a blanket from under the couch and puts it over him, his shivering going away quickly.

Ariel steps around the sleeping boys, and goes to the kitchen and gets a few pans out from under the stove. She turns one of the knobs to heat the stove, and gets pancake mix from a cabinet. After getting all the ingredients, she mixes them together then sprays the hot pan and pours a small portion of the mix in.

After cooking all the pancake mix, Ariel goes to her cupboard and pulls out plates and glasses. She sets the table and milk, apple juice, and orange juice from the refrigerator then puts them on the table. Ariel then checks the time again, she smiles and shakes her head. It's ten o-five, and it's time for breakfast! She thought.

Ariel walks over to the music room and still sees everyone asleep, she smiles and takes a deep breath.

"HELLO!? SLEEPING BEAUTIES IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP~" Ariel yells, chuckling at the upset faces of the boys, Charlene and Kimberly sit up.

"Boys~ I need you to get up~ I don't care if it's Saturday, you got to wake up now." Ariel says, as Charlene grabs Kai and Kimberly grabs Luhan, trying to pull them up.

"No... Your floor is comfortable.." Tao mumbles in Mandarin, Ariel shakes her head and grabs both Tao and Sehun's hand and pulls them as hard as she can. Sehun whines and shakes his head.

Ariel shakes her head, and looks over at her two friends who didn't have any luck getting the EXO boys up either.

"If they don't get up while I'm gone, I'm going to pour water on their heads." Ariel says in Korean, Kai and Luhan sit up immediately, but Sehun and Tao went back to sleep.

"You have to get up right now, she looks serious!" Kai says, shaking Sehun. Sehun doesn't move, and Ariel leaves the room. She grabs a water bottle from the fridge and comes back to see the boys didn't get up. Kai and Luhan watch curiously as Ariel opens the water bottle and pours water all over Sehun and Tao's faces.

They both whine and yell at how cold the water is, and stand up to meet the culprit, who is laughing so hard she falls down on to the floor with the empty water bottle still in her hand. Standing up, she looks at Tao who does not look happy at Ariel's actions.

"Why did you wake us up?! We are really tired..Go away." Tao yells, Ariel feeling a slight pang to her chest, she looks down then back up, with a slight smile.

"I made breakfast, go eat before it's cold." Ariel says, holding her hands behind her back then swinging back and forth slightly. She then walks out of the room, leaving the door open and walking up the stairs to her room.

Ariel opens her window and climbs up, grabbing a hold of the roof then pulling herself up. She sits down and hangs her feet off the side of the roof, and sings to herself. After singing a bit to herself, she hears rustling in her room. Like there was somebody looking through her room.

Ariel swings down from the roof, and looks inside to see Sehun and Tao looking for something. She opens her mouth as if to say something, but stops when they start to talk.

"You see what happens when you say things like that to American women? They cry, don't say things like that to girls who are our friends, Tao! I understand you were tired, but do you not see how she is? Did you not notice that she is very skinny, but spent her time making us breakfast? She never ate an ounce of food last night or this morning. She doesn't want to only serve herself, That is an amazing trait any woman can have, and you took advantage of it." Sehun says, scolding his hyung who looks extremely saddened by his own actions. Ariel grabs the inside of the room and swings herself inside her room, startling the boys.
