A Graceful Melody (An EXO Fanfiction)

Chapter 8

Ariel wakes up the next day, and hears the TV in the living room running. She gets up and walks out, in her shorts and tank top. She sees Kimberly and Charlene watching the TV, and a news reporter talking on the screen.

"Good morning, girls." Ariel mumbles, running a hand through her hair and taking the tangles out.

"Morning Ariel, EXO's interview is on. Did you give them the necklaces last night?" Kimberly asks, looking up at Ariel who sits on the couch. Ariel nods, and looks at the TV with EXO and an MC on stage.

"Well, they are wearing them this morning. You did amazing on those necklaces, Ariel. They look beautiful." Charlene says, pointing at the close up of their mates who are wearing their necklaces.

"Thanks, and I felt it was needed last night. They earned them, finally. Now, we know they can protect our lives for real." Ariel says, watching the TV and listening to the MC who changes the subject from before.

"So, we all have heard the rumors, is it true?" The MC asks, looking at the boys. EXO looks in between each other, confusion written on their faces.

"You know! We all know about the Entertainment Companies and their werewolf trainees and stars, so you all must have found someone special to you. And, we have been hearing rumors about some of you gaining a few ladies. Who has found their 'Mate'?" The MC asks, Sehun, Luhan, and Kai looking in between each other then raising their hands. The crowd cries, the sound of happiness and sadness.

"Oh! So lucky~ May you guys introduce your mates to us? Are they here?" The MC asks.

"Err.. Ani. They are not here, but you all know them by the name of 'Graceful Melody', the new rookie girl group." Luhan says, speaking into his microphone with a bright smile on his face. The crowd erupts in 'Aww's and 'Boo's.

"Ah, Graceful Melody that just debuted a few days ago? May you all introduce your mates, and if not, maybe our Kai can go get them for us." Ariel, Kimberly, and Charlene stare at each other, then back at the screen.

"I will go get them now." Kai says, walking off the stage and the girls springing up from their seats and running to their rooms to get ready.

Ariel changes into a mid thigh form fitting blue dress, small white flowers on the front and then laces up in the back. She quickly brushes her hair, then puts her small white jacket on and walks out with a pair of heels in her hand.

When she walks out, she sees Kai there with Kimberly and Charlene, who are wearing the exact same outfit as Ariel.

"Well, lets go!" Ariel sings, shutting off the TV and then walking over to Kai, who teleports them all to the interview.

When they arrive, Kai sets them in the wings.

"Wait out here until I inform the MC of your arrival, and then you can come out when he announces you." Kai explains, grabbing the microphone the stage hand is holding.

Kai walks over to the MC, and past the boys who were introducing themselves to everyone. The MC nods, and Kai walks back to his spot to introduce himself.

"Hello, I'm EXO's lead dancer, Kai!" Kai announces, bowing and beaming at the audience.

"Now, I have been informed that 'Graceful Melody' has just arrived and are backstage." The MC announces, the crowd cheering their mixed feelings about the girls.

"May I present, Ariel, Kimberly, and Charlene!" And the girls walk out in the same order the MC announces them. They smile and stand at the end of the line that EXO had formed.
