Grayson's POV

Andrea, Jade, Adrian, and Andrea's parents were waiting for the doctor to come out and explain what happened to my girlfriend. As I was sitting down, all these thoughts were circling my mind,

My girlfriend got in a car accident.
Maybe if I didn't call her she wouldn't have been in trouble.
This is all my fault.

Soon enough, the doctor approached us with an unexplainable look on his face.

"Um...Mr. Amd Mrs. Johnson, I am very sorry to say but...your daughter's in a coma. I think she hit her head very hard on the glass due to impact which made her loose consciousness. This caused a trauma in her head"

By this point, we were all in tears, especially her mom and Angela. In a shaky voice, Andrea's dad asked, "How long could she be in a coma?"

"I am not entirely sure but from what I infer, she could be in a coma for at least a few months."

"Is there any way you could help her gain consciousness?" I too asked in a shaky voice.

"We're trying our best and hopefully it'll be enough to wake her up. I am really sorry but I have to go. You'll be called if you can come inside her room" With that said, the doctor left.

At that moment, a wave of negative thoughts and feelings washed through me. I felt shocked, angry, sad, and beyond anything...confused. Why would this happen just all the sudden. Why did  the bad things happen to Andrea today? The picture, the accident. Clearly this is no coincidence and I'm going to find out why.

"What are we gonna do now? My baby's in a coma" Andrea's mother cried.

"Maybe...just maybe we could help" Adrian whispered.

"What do you mean son?" Their father asked.

"We have magic for a reason maybe Angela and I could help"

"But how? How do you bring Andrea back?"

"That is what I don't know but maybe there's something in the spell book"

"There is! I saw it but I don't remember how" Angela blurted out.

I checked my watch, 11:45 pm
Shit, I have to go to the park.

I gave Angela a stare to try and catch her attention without anybody knowing. Once she looked, I pointed at my watch indicating that it's time to go.

"Um, Mr. And Mrs. Johnson, I'm sorry but I have to be somewhere right now. I'll come back for Andrea as soon as I can" I politely excused myself.

"Of course Grayson, it's fine with us" Ms. Johnson said.

"Yeah, I have to go somewhere soon too" Angela said.

"Wait where do you think you're going Angela?" Adrian said. Talk about an overprotective bro.

While looking at her watch she said, " I really can't say it right now but I promise I'll be back soon. Just please, let me go. For Andrea's sake"

"What do you mean 'For Andrea's sake'. If you want to do what's best for her then stay with your sister!" Their mom scolded.

"I've learned my lesson from always spoiling my children. I always let you go anywhere you want but now, I won't let that happen. For the sake of this family, for your sake, you're not allowed to go anywhere without my permission. I'm telling you right now, you can't go" She continued.

While their mom was giving Angela a speech, Jade tapped my shoulder and asked, "where are you going? I know you wouldn't leave her for nothing"

"Um..it's...I can't tell you"

"You received the picture too didn't you? About Andrea?"

"How did you-?" Before I could finish my question, she took out a picture from her purse along with the letter that was also sent to me.

"It was also sent to me earlier. I didn't know what to do so I called An but she won't pick up"

"Well that means we'll go to the park with each other and Angela"

"And Ethan. I told him to come with me"

"Well that explains why he's right there" I said and Ethan stood there with a slight smile.

"Bro, I told mom and dad what happened with Andrea and it's cool if you stay here with her for a while"

"Thanks bro"

"Are you ready Grayson?" Angela whispered.

"Yeah, Ethan and Jade are coming"

"What? Why?"

"She also recieved the package"

"Okay, looks like we're in this together" She took a deep breath and said to her parents, "well, I understand you. I really do but I'm sorry, I HAVE to go there. Please trust me with this. My sister's life is on the line. I promise to explain EVERYTHING later when I come back and I promise you, I will be back"
