Andrea's POV

"Granny?" I asked softly.

"Yes...Granny.... She left me this envelope and gave a specific instruction to open it once my twins turn 18. She gave it a few months before she...I think now's the perfect time to open it don't you think?"

"I really miss Granny. She's one of the people who loved me and who didn't show even a trace of favoritsm to her grandchildren" Angela said getting a bit teary eyed.

"Let's open it. I want to see what's inside" Adrian said and right as he did, I felt Grayson stand up and leave the room.

Mom opened the envelope and our eyes were glued to it.

"It's a letter"

Hello family, how are you doing? It's been an awfully long time since we got to communicate (considering this is communication) but anyways, I wanted to leave a few message before I leave this world which is in a few months time from the moment I am writing this. To my grandchildren, I hope you still remember you're good ol' Granny. I had a vision that one of you will be part royalty but I wouldn't say who in particular for I think you have a hunch on who it is based on the eyes.

"Woah okay. Let's pause it there. I didn't care about Granny's future-telling skills but wow" I said.

"I beg your pardon but is there something  that your father and I need to know"

"A lot of things actually and this is one of them" I said and with a flick of a hand, my contacts were gone leaving me with purple eyes again. I placed them on the moment my eyes weren't irritated anymore.

"Woah purple eyes! Since when? How? What does it mean?" Mom asked.

"Why don't we just keep reading. I'll explain after"

- I suppose that you're surprised, confused, and maybe even scared. Don't be! If you haven't done your research, I'll give the main information you need. First off, your eyes, I suppose you know that it's not just a color, you can do powerful things that no other witch can do. I should know because I had them. The power that you have is for you to discover if you don't already know. Second, this is also a mark that you could potentially be part of the magic royal family but you have a choice wether or not you want to be part of it. Your Granny personally refused that offer for a reason you need not to know.

I also had one prediction, a terrifying one. The child with those purple eyes will encounter something evil at the dawn after her 18th birthday. I do not know the exact details nor the result but do not be frightened, special people will help you through it.

I want to bestow a gift for my grandchildren, a gift that you should use wisely and cautiously. In the secret room down the library, which I assume that you have already discovered, you will see somewhere in the room, 2 vials and in it contains my magic, a magic that you could use. It could act as a boost of magic whenever most needed but use it wisely. I only split my magic into 2 because I know that the purple eyed one does not need it, I guarantee you.

I love all of my grandchildren so much but unfortunately, I may not be able to say this personally anymore and he most I can do is through a letter. I love all of you dearies so so so much even more than my life. My last blessing to all of you is for a long long life and less troubles to come your way.

"Okay that's enough! Personal letter for me" Mom said as she snatched the paper from us.

"Aww mom. Please?" Angela begged.

"Sorry honies but I can't"

"Well, I guess that Granny's blessing about the less troubles thing is not affecting me" I said in a nonchalant manner.

"I guess not" Angela agreed

"What are you talking about?" Dad asked.

"Um nothing!"

"Oh by the way, do we go back home today or do we stay here for the night?" Adrian asked.

"I think we have to stay here for the night. It's pretty late out and I'm sure dad is too tired to drive from the party. Even the Dolans will stay with us for the night BUT in a different rest house"

"They are?!" I jumped excitedly but to my surprise, Adrian said the same thing.

"Ooh Adrian, you and Cameron huh? I saw you two having fun during the party" I said wiggling my eyebrows.

"Not gonna blame you bro, she is beautiful" Angela added.

"What?! No! I was only excited because..I get to see my bros Ethan and Grayson"

"Yeah sure" Angela and I said sarcastically.

"Well Adrian, need some man-to-man talk about girls? Your old man got you covered"

"Oh my god dad! I do not like Cameron Dolan! She's just a friend!" He said and we all laughed.

"I missed this. We never had time to bond as a whole family"

"Well we'll bond more often because mom and dad are having a break from all their work sh- ... things because WE HAVE A TRIP TO HAWAII NEXT WEEK!" Adrian said as he pulled out 5 tickets to Hawaii.

"OH MY GOD SHUT UP!" Angela and I said as we gave our brother a hug.

"Woah son! Where did you get the money for this?" Dad asked.

"Well, I've saved a lot of money and I'm a witch for a reason" he said.

"We loved it and you definitely did surprise us, I can't believe it!"

"Haha well, I'm glad you loved it"

"Ooh by the way, how did you manage to get the whole school to come here?"

"Not to brag but your mom was pretty popular back then and I invited my old friends and they brought their sons and daughters. Plus, I got a little help from Grayson and Jack" She winked.

"We were pretty popular" Dad added.

"Yeah, no wonder we are" I mumbled.

"I've been meaning to ask, how did you find out about Jack and I?" Angela asked.

"Oh I read your phone" Mom said.

"What! Mom?!"

"I am your mother and being the less strict parent I am, that's the least I could do"
