Andrea's POV

I woke up with a very good mood. I checked my phone to see what the time is and I realized...it's my birthday.

"It's my birthday"

Before anyone greets you, Happy Birthday Anj! , I said through telepathy.

Happy Birthday An! We're 18, I can't believe it! ,she replied

I immediatey jumped out of bed and did my morning routine a bit quicker than usual. I took a bath, brushed my teeth, and changed into my outfit.

I applied more make-up than the usual and curled my hair. While doing my make-up, I realized one thing...my eyes were purple.

I almost dropped the brush that I was holding but then I just shrugged it off, for the time being, I have to look my best. I did my make-up way faster than I usually do.

I checked the mirror one last time to see how I look and I'm proud of the figure I'm seeing. The eyes feel so surreal though, as if maybe I'm just imagining it. I quickly grabbed my purse and ran to Angela's room before anyone sees my eyes.

"Anj anj anj!!" I screamed while entering her room. Once I opened the door, I saw her also wearing a dress like me but with a different design.

"Yo! Happy Birthd- why are your eyes purple?" Angela said as she dropped her bag.

"Why are yours not?! Oh my god...I woke up with purple eyes and you didn't?!"

"Obviously not. Since we don't know why your eyes are like that but given the situation, let's just put contacts on top of them. I got one somewhere here...wait.." She said as she ran to her closet and fetched those contacts for me. I couldn't have asked for a better sister.

"Ah here it is" she said as she handed the container to me. I ran to her mirror and slowly placed it on. I forgot how ridiculously irritating these are.

"You're Andrea again but not gonna lie, that eye color fits you"

"Okay, ready to start this beautiful day?" I said and reached out my hands for a hug. She gladly accepted and hugged me.

"Happy 18th Birthday Andrea"

"Happy Birthday to you too Anj" I said and took a deep breath out and my lips curled into a smile.

We walked down the stairs and once we reached the first floor, people greeted us with smiles.

"Happy Birthday!" They said as party poppers were heard.

Grayson, Ethan, Jade, Jack, and a few of my other relatives are here too.

"Make a wish sweeties!" Mom said as she approached with my cake and dad with Angela's cake.

I took a glance at Grayson and he gave me a a cute grin. I smiled back and once my cake was in front of me, I closed my eyes and made a wish.

I wish that my relationship with Grayson lasts forever
