I hadn't been part of the 'Raphael's Personal Servants' for long. I was turned a couple of weeks before Simon turned up by a roaming vamp. Raphael found me and he took me in. He also used me to help Simon adjust.

Simon was a nerdy guy with a mouth so naturally we became good friends. I was able to persuade him to stay at the Hotel for a week just to test the waters.

Today however was one of those days where his majesty was having an attitude.

Simon and I had bought a PS4 so we could spend the time. We were in my room playing when all of a sudden Mr. Dramatic decides to just stroll in and turn the system off.

"Hey! I was about to win!" I stand and yell at him.

"Yea you wish." I turn to look at Simon.

"I was so beating you vampling!"

"Enough both of you." Raphael's calm voice says. I narrow my eyes at him. He's suspiciously calm. Something's up. "Both of you with me." and just like that he walks out of the room. Simon and I exchange a glance and go after him.

We get to the main room and see Clary with a few Shadowhunters and a werewolf. Naturally I bare my fangs and hiss at the werewolf.

"Y/N." I hear Raphael but I don't acknowledge him. I feel a hand on my arm and look into the warm brown eyes of Raphael. I retract my fangs and walk next to him. Simon is already at Clary's side.

"I see you've chosen already." Raphael commented.

"Maybe if you had a body like that he wouldn't be over there," I retorted.

"If you were more like Clary maybe he wouldn't have left in the first place." He said with his usual smirk.

"Maybe if you were a better leader he would've chosen us the moment he dug his way out of the ground." I snapped at him. His smirk fell but before he could say anything Clary butted in.

"Look we came here to ask for your help not watch you two bicker all night." We both turned to look at her.

"We're not interested." I declared.

"It's not your decision to make little vamp. But I agree, we want no part in your plans." He agreed with me.

"We need your help finding Jace." I roll my eyes and walk over to the couch.

"The Night Children want no part in your Shadowhunter business. Would you like us to spell it out for you or say it much slower?" I tilt my head while looking at her. I never did like Clary much, she turned Simon simply because she couldn't bear the thought of him dying. Now he has to learn to be a vamp and when her time comes he'll still walk the earth without her. I didn't like her decision, it was selfish.

She turned and glared at me. I glared right back.

"As Miss L/N has said, we don't want to be part of your search party." "It's not even a party." I mumbled knowing well that Raphael and Simon could hear me.

Clary turns to leave with the others and Simon walks behind them.

"You're going with them vampling?" I ask him.

"Yea. They need help so I'm going to help." He says with determination. I smile at him.

"If you go with them now you'll not be welcome here again." Raphael says in a tone that allows no argument.

"He will always be welcome here. No matter his choices he is one of us and we will not throw him out because he chose to help his friends." I stand and walk over to Simon. Raphael glares at us, "If you kick him out you kick me out as well."

He doesn't believe me so I pull Simon towards the exit. I hear a heavy sigh before, "wait!" I stop and turn. "He can stay."

I let go of Simon and walk over to Raphael. I peck him on the lips. "Thank you mi amor." I wave at Simon, signaling him to leave.

"The thing you make me do princessa." He places his hands on my waist and pulls me towards him.

"It wouldn't be right to leave him. He doesn't deserve it." I wrap my hands around his neck. "Just imagine what would've happened if you hadn't taken me in. I would probably be dead if it weren't for you." I look at him in a loving way.

"Te amo princessa."

"Te amo mi principe." We share a very slow, loving kiss.

Where the night leads from there only you can tell.
