Rainbow Girl (Ellie Phimister x Reader)

The professor was showing me around the school.

"I'm sure you'll fit right in Y/N." He says.

I nod and look around the living area. I stop on a girl dressed in all black. "Who's she?" I ask the professor.

He looks in the same direction as me and chuckles. "That's Ellie. She likes to keep to herself."

"Thanks professor," I wave and walk over to Ellie. "Hi." She looks up and raises and eyebrow.

"I'm Y/N. I'm new here." I inform her. She looks back to her phone, I sit next to her. "What are you doing?"

"Ignoring you." She says in a bored tone.

"Well you answered me so you're not doing a good job at ignoring me." I say matter of factly. "Does your whole wardrobe consist of black clothing?"

"Yes." She answers.

"Why don't you wear other colors?"

"I like black."

"Oh. Have you ever thought of wearing like burgundy or maroon?" I look at her. "I think those colors would look good on you."

"No."

"Let's go shopping!" I grab her by the arm and go find Ororo. She was in her classroom grading papers.

"Hello Y/N, Ellie." She greets us with a smile.

"Can you take us shopping O?" I ask excitedly.

"Sure. Just give me a few moments to finish and then we'll go." We sit in the desks waiting for her to finish.

Time Skip

We got to the store Ellie usually shops at and I immediately go on the hunt for dark colors.

I find a burgundy and dark grey pair of pants, a midnight blue jacket and some dark grey shirts. I drag Ellie to the dressing rooms.

"Try these on." I push the clothes into her arms and 'gently' push her into the room.

Ellie tries on the burgundy pants with one of the dark grey shirts and she looks amazing.

"We're buying these!" I say with a big smile.

She tries on all the outfits and I go around getting some other stuff in maroon, grey and one purple tank top.

I get back to her and she looks at the purple shirt hesitantly. "Trust me you'll look great." I encourage.

After trying all the outfits and me loving every single one of them, we head over to the cashier. Ororo pays for the clothes and then we leave.

Time Skip

I wake in the morning and go to Ellie's room. She's still asleep so I go to her closet and pull out her outfit for the day.

I leave her room and head outside. Stopping by the kitchen to get an apple.

Once I'm outside I take my jacket off and let my wings out. I take off with a run and then I'm up in the air.

I fly around for awhile to give my wings some much needed exercise. I see Ellie near a tree staring at me fly. I go down and land a few feet away.

I reach her and the first thing out of my mouth is, "I almost didn't recognize you with those clothes." I smile.

Her lips twitch the slightest. "Yea well, I didn't recognize you with those giant wings."

I stare at her a while before laughing. She starts chuckling alongside me.

We walk back into the school and go into the kitchen to eat some actual breakfast.
