AN: Here is another Daryl one'shot it is kind of a sequel to the previous Daryl one'shot. Feedback is always welcome and request are open :)

We were running back to the cars after getting Daryl back. We stopped when we were close enough, Glenn and Michonne drew their weapons and tried to get to Merle. Rick and I stood on either side of Daryl, stopping them from getting to Merle.

"Put your weapons down," Rick ordered.

"You can't be serious Rick?" Glenn said, "he almost killed me! He can't come with us," he exclaimed taking a step closer. Daryl raised his crossbow and I knocked an arrow in my bow.

"Glenn. Step back or I'll shoot you between the eyes," I warned.

"Your taking his side!" He looked at me.

"Yes. You want to know why? Because he's the brother of the man I love and even though he's a douche bag I won't leave him behind. Not while Daryl wants him around," I respond.

He puts his weapon down and starts walking back to the cars, Michonne and Maggie follow him.

I stay back with Daryl and Merle, "You're an asshole you know that?" I say walking over to Merle and hugging him much to his reluctance.

"Yea, yea. And your an annoying little woman," he retorts. I walk towards the others, the two following behind at a slower pace.

"We can't take him with us! You don't know what he did- what they did to Maggie!" Glenn yells.

"Maggie?" Rick looks to her.

"I'm fine." she responds.

"No your not," Glenn breathes out. "He's not coming, none of us want him there."

"Daryl wants him there. I want him there," I walk over to them.

"Are you serious?! You would let him be around Judith? Your niece!" he looks to Rick, "your daughter!"

"Hold up now. You're Officer Friendly's sister?" Merle intervenes. I give him the 'what the hell' look. He laughs and Glenn tries to lunge at him, Rick holds him back.

"Daryl what are you doing?" Rick suddenly asks. I turn to see him grabbing his things from the back of the car.

"I'm not leaving Merle. If he's not coming I ain't either," he says.

"Daryl you can't just leave your family," Glenn walks over to him.

"Merle is my family. I ain't leaving him here to fend for himself," He said with determination.

I walk over to Maggie and hug her, "You're strong, you'll get through this," I whisper in her ear. I pull back and walk to Glenn, "take care of her and don't be an overbearing ass alright?" I hug him lightly.

"Not you too," he looks at me with sadness.

"I'm not leaving Daryl. I can't. It'll be like me telling you to leave Maggie behind," I explain. I turn and walk over to Rick.

"You two don't have to go," he says. I pull him into a hug, he squeezes me the tiniest bit. We pull back and lean our foreheads like we did when we were kids.

"Tell the others not to worry about us, we'll be fine," I say to him.

"Be careful," he says, kissing the top of my head.

"We'll see each other again," I say pulling away and walk to the Dixon brother's.

"You should've stayed with them, with Rick," Daryl says walking next to me.

"If I stayed I would be miserable and incomplete without you," I respond.

"You two make me sick," Merle says walking up to my right.

"So is your face but you don't see me complaining," I retort, he shoves me a little but has a small smile on his lips.

We walk for a bit, Daryl catching the occasional squirrel. "I'll go ahead and look around," I say jogging ahead.

I look around for a bit when I hear screams, what the hell? I take a closer look and see a pair of guys being attacked by walkers. Daryl runs up next to me and I hear Merle breathing heavily behind us. "We should help them."

"We don't gotta help nobody, they need to learn on their own," Merle says, I walk over to him and grab a fistful of his shirt.

"We're going to help them and you're going to shut the hell up about it," I hiss at him. I let go and walk towards the bridge. I knock and arrow in my bow and it hits it's target. Daryl takes down any walkers that I miss while Merle hangs back.

I get closer to the two guys at cornered by the walkers. I put my bow away and take out my knife, getting up close and personal with them. Daryl's at the van taking out the walkers there. I kill my last walker and walk back to the van and Merle is digging around the back.

"Merle get the hell out of there," I demand.

"We helped these people the least they could do is give us some food," he says still digging. Daryl points his crossbow at Merle and he stops. "Go, get out of here," I say to the family.

They drive off and Merle starts his bullshit, "You better point that elsewhere before I knock you on your ass little brother." Daryl lowers his bow, grabs his bag and starts walking into the forest again. I follow him and Merle takes the rear.

I go ahead of Daryl and go scout the area, looking for a place to stay. I stop when I'm far enough and wait for the them. After some waiting I see Daryl walking towards me, "We're going back," is all he says.

I look to Merle, "What did you do to him?" He tries to walk past me but I grab him and pull him against a tree, "what did you do Merle?" I demand.

"I saw the scars, we lashed out at each other," he responds with a sullen look. I let go of him and step back.

"Dammit Merle! You better not give him shit about it or treat him like he's nothing," I say. "You better apologize to him for whatever you said." I turn and run after Daryl.

I stay a behind Daryl but close enough that he knows I'm here if he needs it. Merle stays to my right. We walk in silence the whole way over. Once we see the prison I notice Daryl relax a little.

"Home sweet home," I mumble.
