Today was Valentine's Day, I haven't seen Erik all day but there were roses and hints that lead me to him. I wonder how long it took him to set this all up.

I walked around the mansion finding his messages and moving to the next destination.

Something awaits you in the one place where your life changed. -Erik

I smile at the note and head to the kitchen to leave the rose in a vase with the others. After that's done, I walk out into the backyard and walked down the path that leads into the forest. I walk around admiring the beauty of it all.

I get to the small lake and look around for something that looks out of place. I walk closer to the lake and see something shiny. I reach down and take it out. It's a metal rose with an engraving on it.

Last clue. To find me you must look into my mind and find that which I love and cherish the most. -Erik

"How could I possibly know that?" I say to no one in particular. I hold the rose and walk back towards the mansion. There's only one way to know the answer to his riddle... Charles.

I search the school for Charles and I found him in his study.

"Charles can you help me with something?" I say as I enter.

"Of course Y/N. What is it?" He looks up.

I hand him the rose and let him read the engraving. "The thing he loves and cherishes most is me but he's not with me."

Charles chuckles. "He doesn't always have to be beside you to be with you does he?"

"So it's somewhere that makes him feel closer to me?" I ask him.

"I would think so yes."

"But where could he feel closer to me? I spend my spare time in the tree-" I cut myself off. "I know where he is. Thanks Charles." I say as I grab the rose and run out of the mansion.

I take my jacket off and let my wings out. I take off running and then I'm in the air.

I circle around for a while before going into the forest and finding my usual hiding spot. I start going down and once I'm close enough I land and retract my wings.

I walk into the little treehouse that I fixed up. Once I get to the entrance the door is open and I see someone inside.

"I didn't know you knew about this place." I say once I get close enough. He turns to look at me, a smile on his face.

"You thought I wouldn't know where you escaped to love?" He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer.

"Now that I've found you what will we do?" I lay my hands on his biceps.

"Now we eat." He pulls back and leads me to the table I hadn't noticed.

"Did you spend all day doing this?" I say in amazement.

"Not all day." He responds, he sits and we start eating. Well he does anyway.

"Erik, how would you feel about having a child with me?" I play around with the food on my plate. I hear him put his fork down but I don't look up.

"Why would you ask that?" I feel his gaze on me.

"Well you know, just in case I want to have kids with you in the future," I roll the meatball around my plate.

He stays quiet before acknowledging the obvious. "You haven't even touched your food. What's going on?" He reaches over and takes my hand.

I look up and see concern written all over his face. "I asked you something first so I'd like an answer first."

He smiles a little, "I would welcome the child with open arms. I'd love you both so much that I'd become a sappy old man." He laughs at the last part.

"Well to answer your question. There is something I need to tell you." He looks at me with his serious face. "I'm pregnant Erik."

I feel his hand tense around mine. He stands up and kneels in front of me.

"Marry me." I look at him with wide eyes. "Marry me and make me the happiest man in the world."

I stare at him for while longer before laughing. A look of confusion comes across his face.

"That's all it takes to get you to propose to me?" I say once I've calmed down.

"What?" he says with a confused look.

"Yes Erik, I'll marry you." I kiss him before he says anything else.

We pull away for air. "How long?" he asks.

"Two months a week and four days." I smile at him.

"This turned out better than I expected." He leans his forehead on mine.

"What do you mean?"

"I had this whole evening planned to propose to you and you drop this on me."

"Well I'm sorry for throwing your plan out the window." I laugh.

"It's fine really. This is much better." He kisses me with such passion.

"We should head back." I say as we pulled away. Erik nods and puts everything away.

"How do you think Peter will react when we tell him?" I look at Erik.

"I guess we'll find out tomorrow," he concluded.

We walk out of the treehouse hand in hand. "I race you home Dadneto." I say as I take off running letting my wings out.

"What did you just call me?" I laugh as I jump and take flight. This has been the best Valentine's Day of my life by far.
