~Sophia's p.o.v~

My timer started tingling as I read the message. My face immediately started to burn and I could tell that it had turned cherry red. My heart began to pound so rapidly that I thought it was going to explode and my hands started sweating profusely!

"I knew it..." I whispered shakily.

The feeling of sadness and doubt soon melted away leaving me with only happiness and excitement. I wanted to scream out with joy! I hadn't been so happy in weeks! I grabbed my phone to call Layla.

"Hey Soph!"

"Layla, I got a response."

She was very quiet for a few seconds.

"What did he say?" She said hesitantly, but I could sense a little bit of excitement in her tone.

"He told me he has the same amount of time Layla, I knew it! I knew it was him the whole time!" I almost started crying tears of joy, but I fought them.

"Oh my gosh Soph! I can't believe it, did you talk to him? Where does he live? When are you going to see him? Why did it take so long for him to res-"

"I don't know anything yet, we haven't talked but I'll figure it all out today because he gave me his number! And when did you become so enthusiastic about all this? You've been very reluctant to be happy for me the past few weeks."

"I wasn't enthusiastic because I didn't want you to get hurt, and I still don't! So please don't get too excited about this. I don't want you to get your hopes up and then find out that he's not the one. I can't bare to see you like that again anytime soon."

"I'll try Lay. And thankyou."

"For what?"

"For always being there for me, and always caring about me. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Layla has always been there for me. When we were 5 and I fell down and scraped my knee, she was there. When we were 9 and I found out that Aiden Cooper (my crush at the time) didn't have the same amount of time as me left so I figured out that we weren't destined to be together, who gave me her shoulder to cry on? And when I was 13 and my parents got divorced, who didn't leave my side for hours? Layla. I couldn't ask for a better best friend.

"You're welcome Soph, that's what I'm here for!"

*Later*

I finally gathered enough courage to call him. But I couldn't do it alone, so I invited Layla over and she promised to be there the whole time. What would I do without her? I always find myself asking that.

"I don't know If I can do this." I said while slowly backing away from my phone.

"Of course you can! After all, isn't this what you wanted? To talk to him, well this is your chance! If you don't, I'll call him and just shove the phone into your face. You got 2 options Soph!" She said jokingly, although I don't doubt she'd do that.

"I'll choose option 1" I said while picking up my phone. I dialed the number, but I was hesitant to press call.

"What will I say?" I said nervously

"You'll know when the time comes."

"That's so cheesy Lay." I said laughing

"Yeah yeah, now press call before I do it for you!"

"Ok..." I pressed call and put the phone to my ear, I didn't want to put it on speaker because I didn't want him to hear layla, so we agreed that I'd tell her everything afterwards.

*Ring Ring Ri-*

The ringing stopped, along with my heart.

"Hello"

His voice sounded so different than it did in his videos. It was so deep and husky, yet inviting.

"Hi." I squeaked. "I'm Sophia."

"Oh that's right! I've been waiting for you to call! Er- I mean not that I've been desperately waiting by the phone or anything..haha....."

"He's perfect" I thought

"Yeah, so- um I guess we should find a time and place to meet."

"Yeah, I guess so..."

"So where do you live?" I said a tad to eagerly. "Wow that sounded way more stalkerish out loud." My heart started pounding even faster and I scolded myself in my head.

"Haha! I live in San Diego California."

My heart stopped.

"San Diego? But I live in Nashville Tennessee, that's like a 4 hour plane ride." All my hopes of meeting him were thrown out the window and into a sewage drain. I was hoping he would be within driving range because there was no way I could get my mom to let me go anywhere, much less to fly anywhere. She'd tell me I was crazy for wanting to see someone I'd met online.

"I'd fly any length to see you!" He said eagerly.

My face turned bright red and my hopes flew right back in the window. I didn't know how to respond. No one has ever said anything like that to me.

"That's the cheesiest and most sweet thing anyone's ever said to me. Thankyou."

"Your welcome." He laughed.

We kinda just sat there in silence for a few seconds, I couldn't think straight, my head was spinning, everything was happening so fast.

"So I can't come right away," he finally broke the silence. "I have an exam tomorrow, but I'll get plane tickets as soon as I can, I swear!"

"But it's so short notice, how are you gonna get them so fast?"

"I'll find a way, you just let me worry about that." He said sweetly.

"O-Ok, maybe we can meet at the centennial park?"

"Sounds great! I'll be there, I'll call you tomorrow?"

"Yeah of course!"

"Great! Talk to you later!"

"Y-Yeah, bye."

*Beeeeeeeeeeeeep*

"So whats happening?" Layla asked

"He's going to be the death of me."
