I'm scared.

Like, really scared.

Betsy DeVos has just been appointed to secretary of education, and guess what, it was Mike Pence's vote that tipped the scales in her favor. Sometimes it really amazes me how he can not see how many innocent people he's hurting; or if he can see, how he can't manage to have any compassion for us, the people, the teacher's who can barely make it paycheck to paycheck, the young gay teens like myself who hear his insults, the Muslim woman who is told that her hijab somehow makes her less of an American, the black man who is told that he is a criminal, the woman seeking cheap health care at Planned Parenthood. How can someone be so ignorant as to how many people they are hurting?
