Kara's POV

They have me in the office as I'm crying my eyes out. They called Luke into the guidance office to figure out what happened. I don't know whether I am happy or sad or what...but honestly I want to be alone. I call my mom and tell her I'm coming home and she asks why and I tell her I'll explain later. I hope she doesn't ask too many questions. I'm going home to go to sleep. I'm turning my phone off so no one can contact me. No Facebook. No Kik. No text messages or facetime or calls from people I don't want to talk to. I tell my mom the talk to the secretary and tell her I'm aloud to go home so she does. And as soon as I walk out the school I hear a voice that is all too familiar.

"Kara! Where are you going!?" Its Missy. I don't think she's aware that I could stab her right now. I turn around and stare at her as she looks at me clueless. I give her the bird and turn back around and head to my car again. And I hear someone running after me. It better not be that slut. Just my luck. Its her.

"I don't know what that was for but you wanna explain?" I look at her with my you-know-what-you-did face. And she says "Kara." It was then that I realized I had lost my best friend. Why you ask? Because I slapped her so hard hard she probably saw her life flash before her eyes for a minute there. I disagree completely with people who say violence solves nothing. Why. Because after I slapped her I felt pretty damn good.

She got close to me and looked me in my eyes as if she was trying to find an explanation. She was truly clueless. Damn. "What the hell was that for?" she says this in a lower tone showing that she's pissed.

"You. Are. With. Carter."

"The fuck I am!!" she says bluntly.

"When he broke up with me that's what he said. Unless there is some other Melissa Leeara Rivera. Its you who he was talking about. You Melissa!!" I am so livid right now. Ughh. These are the times when people wish murder was legal. I wish The Purge was real right now...

"Excuse me!?!? I don't like Carter. And I would never go out with him. You are out of you rabbit ass mind!!" she stops for a minute and I'm a little confused myself. I'm looking down at the ground, car keys in hand. "And wait..what? He broke up with you? Why?"

"He said it was because he had you." I am so ashamed of myself but I would never admit that. I wish I could slap myself right now.

"Karalynn I love you girl but sometimes you are so dumb." she laughs dryly with this. And I start to feel dumb so I laugh along with her and step closer to her. She wrapped her arms around me and I said "I love you too Missy but I need you for something."
