Chapter 4

Three Hours Later

Lucy's P.O.V

I wanted to forget about him. Ayato is such an asshole. There were so many marks, from his 'deal.' If someone were to see it I would lose my job. I sat on a barstool. The bar was the only good place for me right now. I hated thinking about Ayato. My body was not just some toy for him. Being with him always seemed to take me away from the chance of even finding love.

"Is something sweet on the menu?" The bartender nodded. "Then I will have that."

 The Next Night

I looked around me in shock. I was in a room completely different from my own. In fact, it looked like a bachelor's pad. The door opened and the blue-haired teacher I was too familiar with came in while drying his hair with another towel. Steam was coming out of the shower as well. I had a full view of his body, his face, his gold eyes that met mine. He was attractive.

"Suzuki-sama" I couldn't help whisper.  He chuckled at me.

"Just call me Yamato."

"Yamato..what happened last night?"

"Look down" I looked underneath the covers and seen that I had been naked. My face began to heat up.

"Yamato... I...I have to go." I grabbed my clothes and changed under the blanket. Then I was about to go when I saw Yamato grab my hand, stopping me. 

"I apologize if I caused discomfort. Please do not hate me."

"It not that I don't like you Yamato, I'm just confused." I smiled and left for my home. Once I arrived at my apartment I closed the door behind me. I sighed inwardly.

"Was that really what happened?" I ignored Yamato for three weeks before he confronted me. We became friends and had even gone on dates before starting dating. I was very relieved that Ayato was unaware.

One Week Later

 Normal P.O.V

Ayato walked into the nurse's room and sat down. Confused about where Lucy had been until he smelt the scent of strawberries. "Lucy" She came out from under her desk. "What were you just doing?"

"Number one, it's Heartfilia-sama, and number two, I was hiding from your brother."

"Huh? Which one and why?"

"Laito and because .....he..... likes me." Ayato chuckled.

"I'm surprised"

"Why?"

"You're not really that pretty but Laito is Laito and would do any girl." She glared at him. 

"Yamato thinks so."

Her attention was drawn by Ayato's angry look before he stood up, which made her nervous. What did he intend to do? "Yamato huh?" Ayato growled before he started to leave. Lucy ran and grabbed him, pulling him back into the room.

"Ayato-kun please don't do anything."

"Who said I would? You're nothing to fight over anyway. You're too plain."

"That's exactly what you are!" He sniggered before sliding a smirk across his face.

"You wanted it." She glared at him before she let go of him. He actually had the nerve to say that?

"It would have been better if I'd just shoved you away. You're such an asshole. " 

"You still slept with me." She felt furious but had nothing to say and was powerless to act. Her vision blurred and before she realized it, she was in tears.

She spoke without looking at him. "I shouldn't have accepted you then? Get out, now !" Ayato was shocked. He had grown accustomed to her reactions in the past, but this one was different.

"You idiot," she gasped as she felt him pull her into his embrace. He wanted to show her more than anger and sex. He really had to show her something. Still, she hadn't accepted it. She pushed him away.

"You're a jerk."

"I've heard worse."

"I hate you so much, but I care for Yamato, you can't hurt him, please don't." Ayato looked at her in awe of her beauty and the flushed color of her face. He didn't understand why his heart ached, that he desperately wanted to help her. Yet he felt angry that she had chosen Yamato. Out of everyone, he would have had to choose him.

"If you do something special for me then I will give you a break." Lucy blushed hard.

"He's my boyfriend,  I can't cheat on him." Ayato chuckled at her.

"What made you think I wanted your body?"

Four Hours Later

Lucy sat at her desk as she thought about the recent events that happened. Ayato wanted to skip class of course but he stayed with her and talked. That was out of the ordinary for him. She felt someone tap her causing her to quickly jolt up. She looked to see her boyfriend.

"Yamato," She said before she hugged him. "I missed you." He chuckled at her and ruffled her hair.

"I was only away for a day Lucy."

"I know but it felt like so long," Lucy said fixing her hair back. He chuckled at her before he kissed her.

He began kissing her jaw, "You know it's been almost two weeks since our last date."

"Yamato" There door slid open making the two quickly back away. There had been Ayato who looked surprised and angered. 

"Nurse I don't feel so well." 

"Ayato-kun are you sure I mean-"

"I see you're busy now, can I visit you at your apartment later?" Lucy nodded.

"See you later."

"See you later. " Yamato left and Ayato closed the door behind him. She looked at him.

"What?" 

"From the looks of it, it seemed like you were about to have sex with Yamato." Her cheeks reddened before she looked away. 

"That's unprofessional" The sound of his footsteps traveled to her ears. 

"Yet you were about to do it." 

"You love him that much huh?" He moved his face about an inch from hers causing her to blush. "If you don't want to be caught, keep your voice down."

"Huh?" She wanted to ditch him, but she could not stop herself from returning to him. Even his kiss had the potential to drive her deeper into his trap.
