Chapter 3

Lucy's P.O.V

Standing near one of the windows, Ayato looked annoyed about something, I didn't know why but didn't want to ask. "You want him don't you?" I widened my eyes in surprise. Why did he ask this question?

"Huh?"

"Don't be dumb with me. You don't get it do you?" Ayato grabbed my wrist and pinned me to the wall. My eyebrows knitted together. How am I getting punished for liking someone?

It doesn't matter who I like, it doesn't make me bad, and besides, he's an adult unlike you," Ayato smirked at me, making me want to slap his face.

"So am I." I arched a brow at him.

"Last time I checked you were seventeen."

"I am eighteen now," I guess his birthday was close by when I read his file. "What?"

"You can't blackmail me anymore since you are eighteen then."

"You're wrong, I brought you here, so I can get rid of you as well." I felt anger. More anger than anything. Why would I need to listen to the rules of an eighteen-year-old? It didn't matter if he brought me this job or not. I liked it here. The students were people who came not only for their injuries but to talk as well. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed them. So I am not gonna let someone stop me. "Do I make myself clear?"

The school bell rang so I had no choice but to push him from the room and lock it. Ayato, you idiot, stop bringing me more trouble. 

Two Hours Later

I sat in my temporary home and video-chatted Mira. Speaking to the guild had always been the highlight of my day. Even if sometimes it could have been a hassle. "Hey Mira-san"

"Lucy" She yawned. "How are you?"

"Are you sleepy?" 

Mira laughed. "Silly it's two in the morning here."

"Really?"

"Yeah" She yawned causing me to giggle.

"Do you want me to video call you guys in about twelve hours?" She nodded.

"That would be great."

"Okay goodnight "

I put my phone on my nightstand and began to get ready for bed. As I nearly finished and began to get dressed, I heard a knock on the door. I walked to the door and looked through the peephole to see Ayato. 

Dammit, I forgot that the person who gave me the job also gave me the apartment. "Melon tits, open the door." My brows furrowed. He was loud. I opened the door before yanking him inside. I closed the door and locked it behind him.

"Why are you here?"

"You kicked me out earlier."

"So"

"So, I still didn't punish you." I pinched the bridge of my nose. 

"Are you annoyed." His anger was vocal. 

"Yes"

"So am I." I looked at him. 

"If you want to punish me then get it over with." He arched a brow.

"Really?"

"Yes," He moved his lips to my neck. He was about to bite me when he stopped. 

"Ayato-kun?" He backed away and looked at me.

"I want to make a deal."
